Wow! It's fast
This All-in-One printer is one of the leaders in the field of A3 printers. It does A4 as well of course and also various other paper sizes. It isn't classed as a photo printer, but the print quality of photo's is excellent on photo paper, though a bit grainy looking on normal paper. Automatic double sided printing and copying up to A3 which is great as some wide format printers don't automatically copy double sided. It doesn't say it on the tin and I haven't heard of it on any professional reviews about this product, but it actually has a quiet mode which you can set for specific times, so if you do a lot of printing overnight when everyone is asleep you can do it quietly, although the quiet mode doesn't work for photo printing. Incidentally, it isn't particularly loud anyway considering the speed it's capable of printing at. Did I mention it also prints borderless? Well it does! It's also worth noting that this printer does not qualify for HP's instant ink subscription so you're going to have to pay the full price for ink replacement. This printer can also somehow 'Mark' the ink cartridges so that they cannot be used in another printer (even the exact same printer model) which is an excellent feature if you have two or three of these printers in different office departments and are fed up of other departments swapping their empties with your full cartridges. An excellent printer for the price.

It's only worth 4 and a half really
The true-to-colour scanning and printing are far superior to that of my RICOH laser printer using the same original. Printing & copying is pretty quick too. One negative is that the A3 paper tray extends beyond the body on the printer so dust (and cat hairs) can get inside the thing (to be fair this is one horizontal surface She who must be obeyed hasn't frequented yet). Set-up was a real trial and the tiny 1.5" x 2" control screen doesn't help. Needless to say there was no manual as it, and everything else in life, was all 'on line'. Not only that but the HP website could see the machine for some set-up functions but not others. I have now got two instances of this machine in 'Printers' but can only print to one of them as the other is always 'Off-line' even when all the lights are on (but no-one is at home). I hope I learn to live with it and not need an A3 print in a real hurry.

HP will download "updates" that block using any ink cartridges other than HP's own brand
This is a good printer. The quality of printing is good. The HP cartridges are expensive. At some point an "up date" will allow it to block it from using any cartridges made by others than HP. If you do not update the machine, it may not be able to read the latest printing software and thus it renders the machine useless. This is like a washing machine preventing you from using your own choice of detergent and is therefore unfair.Loading A3 paper could have been made easier, s you have to extend the lower cassette. Consider buying a printer which allows you to top-up ink wells instead.

What a great bit of kit..
Like many, i don't really know much about printers, all the numbers bla bla actually mean.. I needed to update my home office for a printer that would print up to A3 sheets, the need for scanning and like the idea that i can also fax with it. Into my photography so wanted a printer that could handle both jobs and actually print some of my more decent shots on A4 photo paper.Set up was very straight forward pretty much being plug and play, simple menu to navigate through, system set couldn't be any easier, just select your WIFI and enter your password.Print speed is really quick and quiet, print is really sharp and professional looking.Photos quality is awesome, printed lots of photos up to A4, colour depth and sharpness again make them look like they've been professionally printed.I can print directly from my iPhone, iPad regardless if i'm home or not.I don't know what else i could add to this printer in order to make it any better, if you have the space and the need, grab one i can't see why you'd be disappointed.

So disappointed - failed a month out of warranty!
Ordered this all in one A3 printer purely because it was white as I wanted it to match rest of my new office at home. It was excellent value and came with two trays for different sized paper.Setup was fairly straight forward and print quality was acceptable. My main problem was the scanning software that came with it and the driver issues. The Iris 14 scan software was temperamental and didn't always work. You can scan to pdf which was helpful but I lost count of the times I had to reinstall the drivers or software to get the printer to scan correctly.Eventually I upgraded my PC and hoped the driver and software issues would stop but they didn't. If anything they got worse. I was then reliant on Windows to scan my documents which was far from ideal as I'd then need to convert to PDF. All of this was a pain but at least the printer was useable albeit in a long winded way.Until that is a month or two out of warranty the scanner failed. Whether I was trying to scan or copy a document half the page would scan as a block of lines. I tried everything, I thought it may be a software issue so uninstalled Windows updates and reinstalled drivers (yet again) but it still only scanned half a page, even when just copying so I came to the conclusion it was a hardware issue.I probably would've ordered the same printer again if I hadn't had so many user issues as it's cheap and looks good, plus I've ink cartridges spare. But decided to start afresh and get an Epson.Shame as I liked the look of this printer in my office.

Very good indeed
Purchased for a charity to replace a truculent old printer. This one is a vast improvement and does everything they need of it. Pleased with this purchase.

Easy to set up and use
I needed a printer and scanner capable of A3 for my history study. This does just that and I am able to print from all my devices using the WiFi access. But because it is an A3 printer it is rather big although my study is big enough to accommodate it. The only downside, if indeed it is one, is when you load A3 paper the paper drawer does not shut and about 10 cms stick out. But aside from that this is a good printer.

Prima printer (prijs/kwaliteit)
Mooie stevige printer.
