In March my mother was rushed into hospital with sepsis and blood clots that put a strain on her heart, in addition she suffers from arthritis. I'm pleased to report that she is making a good recovery and I am sure that that is in part due to a daily dose of Krill Oil. Krill is an excellent source of Omega-3, especially Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which both play vital roles in human neuronal structure and functioning. Krill oil is good for the brain, in my mother's case it appears to be helping with post sepsis induced cognitive and memory problems, by strengthening and aiding the repair of cellular membranes and enhancing their plasticity. I sourced Krill oil as it has lower lead content than most fish-oils. I researched the DHA and EPA content of various Krill oils and Livoa 3 Krill has a better content than most (hence it being slightly more expensive than other brands on Amazon). I, like my mother, am also taking Krill Oil daily and within 3 weeks I noticed a difference in my skin (much less dry) and my hair - it looks healthy and shines.I was emailed by Livoa Vital and asked to write a comment in exchange for a discount off my next purchase. However, the above comments are what I would have said anyway.

Easy to swallow, no after taste and after 30 days have already seen an improvement in my hair. It is shinier and starting to look fuller. I also feel calmer and a bit more focused. I am hopeful that these benefits will increase as I take them for longer. The main reason for taking Omega 3 is for the well -documented benefits for heart and brain health and krill oil seems to be the best way to achieve this. I will be putting in a repeat order.

I am taking this as an addition to my standard 1000mg cod liver oil tablets whilst I use them up rather than waste them. Definitely good for your skin, but you need to trial the amount of capsules you are taking i.e do a month of 2 a day, if no benefits then try three or if too strong for your system then drop it to one.

I decided to try this krill oil as it is sourced from cleaner waters and hopefully contains lower levels of pollutant than fish oil as krill are lower in the food chain. It does work out more expensive to get a decent level of EPA and DHA but I personally think is it worth the extra cost as it also contains antioxidant. There is no fishy or rancid smell when you open the pot and my partner and I have not experienced any of the digestion issues that we previously had after taking fish oil. I opened one of the capsules to check for any rancidity and as there was no unpleasant smell decided to taste it. Surprisingly they tasted fine without the usual unpleasant strong fish taste. It is difficult to evaluate how much they have benefitted my health but I have noticed that my eyesight has improved. I have histamine intolerance so was hesitant about taking a product containing crustaceans as these can cause me to react. Histamine develops in food as it ages so the fact that these have not caused me any problems is hopefully an indication that the product was processed whilst the krill were still fresh. I will continue to use this product unless I am able to find something of the same quality at a lower price.

I have ordered these a few times now and have been very happy with there quality.The tablets are small and very easy to swallow, they do have abit of a smell when opening the tub and a slight aftertaste when swallowing but due to Krill oil being easy to digest I don't get any fish burps or tastes which is what I was looking for.Great product will be taking this everyday.

I purchased with the aim of reducing my arthritis pain (neck, knees,hips and back). so far not much relief (i still have hope - many encouraging reviews ). The only minus for me is the strong smell that escapes as soon as the cap comes off. Some unsual stomach/indigestion pain which comes and goes throughout the day. I dont often get indigestion so dont really know why this past week i have been getting it every day. I did some research and found this is a minor side effect in some people. I have faith in these capsules and will finish the course by which time i will know if my pain has been helped at all.
