Zinsser Wallpaper Stripper Concentrate 1lt.

This stuff is awesome if anyone reading this has ever tried to remove wall paper that Is the old wwodchip stuff with just a steamer you will know how hard a job it can be . Well chuck the steamer on ebay for sale as this stuff is just the best. Follow the instructions wet the walls wait 15 mins and it just comes off with a scrapper in large pieces I stripped a whole small room in under 20 mins !! Saves so much time it's crazy 🤪. Don't hesitate buy it you won't regret it.

It works a lot better than hot water or steamer if used with Triple Head Paper Tiger BUT you need to make your own judgement on the temperature of the water and the time between the application and paper removal time. The instruction comes with the product says wait for 15 mins between application and removal. This must be correct for cooler weather. Don't follow the instruction if you are using this product in warmer weather. This is probably why you see different ratings of this product.I used it last July, August time. After scoring the paper, I applied it to 2 strips of wallpaper at a time. On the first two, you may want to wait for 8-10 mins depending on how warm the weather is. Apply to next two before start striping the first two. Repeat this until all papers are strip. It took me couple of hours to finish a 3.4m by 2.9m double room. ALSO, make sure water is not too hot to melt the paper glue that makes it difficult to remove the paper. Water needs to be just warm.This company should pay me for giving out a proper instruction of how to use this product! ... I am not a decorator in profession but this is my second house with chipped wallpaper (Hopefully will be the last one). This product have been the easiest way of stripping those nasty papers.Only thing is the instruction comes with letting this product.

I used the product yesterday to strip a bedroom of wood chip paper. I had previously tried other ways and although it still took 7 hours to complete the room, this product did help.If you follow the instructions it definitely will dissolve the paint and top layer and then follow over with a stripper and the bottom layer comes off easily., so I would definitely recommend this product for those stubborn walls and ceilings.

We had a large living room with thick wallpaper to strip. I bought this and the scarifier thinking that it would make the job a lot easier. We tried the first couple of strips scarifying and soaking in the Zinsser solution. It worked but I couldn't help but think that it wasn't any better than soaking thebpaper in warm water, so I tried that. It worked just as well.So, this is the method I was using by the end of the stripping. I had an old broad wood chisel which I worked under the paper and allowed me to rip the top layer of paper off along with the layers of accumulated paint. I then soaked the base paper that remained stuck to the plastered wall with water using a paint roller. A minute later I used a broad scraper to take the base layer off in broad swathes. Done!!Save yourself the money. Its quicker with a chisel and water.

Oh my goodness I am so impressed by this . I used after using the paper tiger but my second wall was a newer wall and I didn’t use the paper tiger and it was so easy to get off.I have a house full of wood chip so I was expecting it to be a lot of work.

Bought this to strip my 3 bedroom wall paper. It does work well but you will need a lot of patience. Have had to apply it with a sponge several time though I have scored the wall. Some places you will need to reapply to evetually removed all residue. But do recomend rather than using only warm water

Almost given up hope of removal of old wallpaper which seemed to be applied wit h superglue...then this. I knew Zinsser did paints but discovered this and didn't hesitate to buy and use and it really works. Definitely recommend.
