Excellent quality and value.
This kit is very robust and represents good value for money at under £10.00 including free shipping. The rods simply screw together and are flexible allowing them to go around *corners.To prevent pulling the brass ends off the rods it is advisable NOT to overtighten them and apply a small amount of oil to the threads. If you need to manoeuvre around a *corner, rotate the rods very slowly in a clockwise motion. Don't rotate anti-clockwise unless you have applied electrical tape to the brass ends.* These rods have limitations when bending so it is a good idea to see what radius of bend can be achieved before inserting them behind a cavity wall space.Purchased from BARGAINS GALORE via Amazon with FAST free shipping.

A very useful kit to anyone trying to thread cables through congested walls or floors.
Lots of mixed feedback before mine but (okay, mine are gold rods and not blue but I'm not colour prejudiced) I can only praise the massive benefits of this kit. You cannot fault its usefulness. I can see how through forceful usage, the rods may break, but you can sense when you are over-stressing their capabilities. So, with a little TLC, they will also serve you well. I am a DIY'er so will only use these infrequently. Unsure how daily, professional usage will take its toll on the rods. Highly recommended.

Excellent - But be delicate
A huge time save. I did snap two of the end pieces so you do have to be a little careful, and I don't think they would be ideal for a professional installer, but they have been fine to run new cable all the way around my house. Well worth the money and if combined with an Electricians fish tape / Draw tape allowed me to cover all the different combinations that i faced.

Good Product for the price.
I needed something to help install a cable under the floor without removing many floor boards and I needed it to go approx 8M. This product was perfect and made the job simple. It is maybe not the best quality as some of the brass connectors looked rather poorly fitted but it worked so not deducting any stars. Delivery was as expected from Amazon Prime

Beware poor build quality..
Disappointed overall with the quality of this product. The brass threaded ends are not crimped adequately causing the rods to separate with very little pulling force.

Why pay more?
Does exactly as intended. Standard size meaning compatible with other rods.

Poor quality. Connectors break easily.
These proved useless for me. I wouldn't recommend them if you're needing to get round any bends as the brass connectors are very brittle. Most of the connectors snapped leaving the screw in the thread. I have quite a few lost inside the trucking I was threading. I'm not sure how to get them out now and they're impeding putting any cable through.I also experience a few small splinters so if you don't take into account anything is write and still buy them then make sure you use gloves.Good luck if you buy them. I regret not spending more and getting better quality.
