Amazingly hard
I needed to modify these brackets for my use. I burned up one drill bit and broke three before I gave up on that idea. They are incredibly hard. That's a good thing when you want to support something at a right angle. But if you think you are going to modify it, forget it. I re-planned my idea and used it as is. Great product, nicely buffed. All were exact right angles, they came one inside the other, if they would of been out of angle they wouldn't have fit flush to each other. Great price for stainless steel and this is hard industrial steel. I don't think I could have bought anything like this locally for this small amount and I had to do no footwork to HD or the hardware store.

Utilitarian . . . but a great value compared to 'big box' pricing
First of all, the product is well made and arrived pretty much ready to go. I didn't find removing the protective plastic coating to be a 'trial' as some have described. It's hard to wax poetic over an angle brace, but these did the job and I'd buy them again. Initially I looked for this hardware at local big box home improvement stores and was astonished at their 'unit cost' . . . this stuff is not built for NASA. Value-wise buying specialty hardware at Amazon is a huge money saver without sacrificing quality.

These chrome brackets look great and are very sturdy. Nice stuff.
Bought these brackets for an exterior home project. Worked perfectly for my needs and really do seem like they will hold up quite well. Hopefully the stainless coating lasts, it would appear that it will.

Very good item, but each one must be peeled free from its protective coating
Nice quality and brushed surface is well-protected, but that protection is also the only drawback: the plastic protective coating must be peeled off each corner, which is time-consuming.

Great piece for small shelves!
I purchased these to install some corner shelves and they are the perfect fit and their small form factor keeps them out of view enough to not distract from the craftsmanship of the shelves.

Good durable brackets
My coffee table leg was not sturdy. Bought these brackets and installed myself. Now my coffee table is sturdy. Worth the price.

Durable
These are very heavy duty. I sprayed them white when I got them. They were in great shape and very durable. Money well spent.

Perfect for our purpose
Wanted to hold three small storage chests from slipping around the floor base I built. Simple to screw to the base under each chest corner to keep the cheat firmly in place. Easy to lift chests out of bracket for cleaning purposes

They are what they are, nothing more
It is stainless steel. One side that is covered by the plastic protectors is shiny and looks like stainless steel that you would expect. the other side is a dull mat look. Sadly that side also has a significant burr that runs all around the outside edge. This is likely from the stamping process to make them. There has been no other handing on the parts to remove the burr so don't cut yourself when handling them.As others have pointed out, either the head size of the screw provided is just too large for the chamfer on the screw holes, or the countersink chamfer provided just isn't large enough for the screw to sit flush with the corner brace. I think it is the latter as the size of the hole would be just too large for a smaller screw. The hole is large enough to fit a 5mm euro-screw but again, it sits rather proud of the surface. For my application, I will just end up redoing the countersink on one side as it would just look bad otherwise for my project. But for the price, it's really hard to complain or pick major fault. I will also likely need to de-burr the back side.

Junk
Screw heads snap off at the slightest amount of torque (manually applied). Cheap junk.
