Can you use these for polymer clay, or could the clay melt the tools, since polymer clay reacts to some plastics weirdly?

I’m not sure about the melting but the tool tips have flex in them and may not be sturdy enough for clay if the clay is too firm.

Which size would you recommend for figurine modeling? also, soft or firm? i currently have the pme mini plastic set.

I have all four sets but if I had to pick one set, I would pick the soft mini sugar shapers ☺️

What's the approx. dimensions of each piece?

Each sugar shaper is approximately 6-3/4" in length and the width (girth) is almost 1/2" at its widest point.

What exactly are they made of? Is it plastic or silicone?

Sorry, sent that too soon. They are both - it’s like a plastic core covered in silicone and the colored details are plastic.

A must have for all bakers and clay makers!

We were hesitant at first to buy these more expensive tools when trying to decide if it was worth it compared to the others out there. Absolutely worth it! We wish we have got them sooner! They are amazing! They give the detail and tuck corners on toppers like never imagined possible. We highly recommend these to anyone making fondant designs. These also would be great for anyone making clay pieces.
