Edit: Apparently it's made of engineered wood, but I would not call myself an expert in any sense of the word, so it makes sense lol. This style of desk has always been elusive for me, either from huge prices or inclusion certain features I hate, so when I came across this it felt like a match made in heaven. Thankfully it absolutely blew me away like I hoped it would! Even though it seems like it's mostly comprised of particle board, it's one of the sturdiest desks I've ever gotten! Plus, I adore this slightly muted brown color. I also love the rattan/whicker panel for the shelves! I've been looking to add more of that texturing, so this was a perfect fit. There's only two shelves, but I managed to fit quite a few of my art supplies in there comfortably since they're deeper than they appear. The overall desk size is awesome for me (a 5'1" woman). I'm unsure if anyone larger would be more comfortable with it, but I have plenty of room to move my legs underneath so I'd say your mileage might vary. I've not had that much experience building furniture, but this one was definitely the smoothest and easiest ones I've done. I didn't have time to finish assembling it myself, my gf did for it me while I was at work, but I did the main base assembly and it was easy as can be. The guide included everything and there were no missing pieces. It did say not to use an electric screwdriver, but I managed not to split/crack by using taking it slow. However, I'd still advise against doing it just to be safe as they recommend lol. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying!

I love this desk. The boho farmhouse style is beautiful and blends seamlessly with my decor, adding a touch of charm to my space. The design is functional, with ample room for my laptop, notebooks and a few decorative touches. The quality feels durable and sturdy, which makes it perfect for daily use. Overall, this desk was good quality. I bought it to match with my set of similar style furniture. The only issue I had was the color. It was much darker in color once it arrived in person compared to the photos. I initiated a return, and the third party vendor was very responsive, however they did not send me the return label. Instead, they requested photos to confirm the condition of the item before they would provide a return label, which is fair, but it delayed the return process. At first they told me they would not cover the shipping and taxes on the return because it was close to the return date. I had to show them a timeline of the communication, and pointed out that Amazon listed a different return deadline than they quoted me. Once I confirmed this with them, they obliged and covered the cost of the return, but it took some extra effort to ensure a smooth process. I think it's a good product, and the customer service team was helpful, but ultimately I just needed something different. Overall, it was easy to assemble, and took about 1 hour. It fir nicely in between my shelves, however the desk space was fairly small. I also liked the rattan material, but be aware that it does not come with a chair. Thanks!

We love the desk, it has stood up really well. Not often have I bought furniture from Amazon and been impressed with the build quality but this one has impressed me!

Absolutely love this desk! Overall the quality is very good. The instructions were straight forward and easy to put together. I was able to manage putting it together on my own and only took me a couple hours.
