Excellent for holding bird feeder
Used this to re-position our bird feeder. We can now see the birds without leaving the comfort of the sofa. An added advantage is that the slugs & snails and pigeons haven't worked out how to get at the food :-)

This was as versatile as its described I had to make some alterations to the clasp to ensure it was secure and why I give 4 stars. The design could be improved by having some rubber on the clasp to grip the surface it is attached.

Won't fit standered depth railing.
Did not fit onto standard depth wooden rail top.Very heavy gauge. So can't really say it would work with a few birds on it.
