Dead Sea Spa Magik Conditioning Scalp Mud 150ml/5oz

Honestly I see so many of these 'OMG it works!' reviews, I get my hopes up and then it's another dud product. The thing is, everyone has different skin cells, immune systems etc. What works for one does not work for another. This review is purely my personal experience with the product. For me it is exceptional. I usually use every day until my scalp gets back into a stable condition. It is important to massage into the scalp and leave for about 5 minutes. Rinse with warm, but not hot water. My only issue is I wish the amount was more, it's quite pricey for the quantity. But if something helps your body then pricey shouldn't be a factor.

I've had psoriasis for over thirty years and recently discovered this product. Decided to try it after tearing at my scalp for years and nothing else ever helping. This stuff has been AMAZING for me. The relief is so lovely...no itching at all and a massive reduction in the skin build up on my scalp. I shampoo and condition with either the dead sea spa shampoo and conditioner or The Body Shop Ginger shampoo and conditioner and then apply the mud to my scalp and leave it for about 10-20 mins and then rinse it off. Doesn't smell bad at all, especially when compared to some of the medicated products that are supposed to help but don't. Leaves hair really soft too. Couldn't recommend it enough!

I have psoriasis and this conditioner has definitely helped to calm down the itching. It leaves your hair beautifuly soft and I also think it's lifted the natural colour of my hair.It comes out a grey, clay colour but don't let that put you off. It leaves your hair wonderfully smoothI'll never use another conditioner again!

This scalp mud is a great way to condition your hair. My hair is slightly softer, smoother and neater after using this conditioner. It also does help to nourish the scalp too, but the changes are not massive. I had a slightly irritated scalp from minor dandruff and this absolutely helps to soothe the scalp.My hair is not nearly as irritated or sensitive and dandruff has been reduced a bit, but ultimately this is just a single product so the changes will not be phenomenal. However, I really like the product, I think the ethos of the Dead Sea Spa Magik brand is a great one, I would buy this again and would look at some of their products too. The product does what it says, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this.

This mud I'm sure is fantastic as a conditioner for people with normal skin, but I purchased hoping for some relief from psoriasis of the scalp. After use, I think it was probably even drier and flakier than before, although my hair felt a bit glossier (being a bloke this isn't something I hoped for!) I wont buy it again, but anything is worth a try and for general use with normal skin I'm sure it would work brilliantly.

I've had scalp psoriasis for years now and was getting a bit fed up of how little all the steroid ointments and coal tar based things were doing. I tried this and cannot imagine washing my hair without it now! I was really anxious before buying it as I didn't want to get my hopes up and perhaps buy something that had no difference at all but the soothing relief from this alone is worth it. In terms of psoriasis in particular, this turns my large plaques into tiny ones, more like dandruff. It just feels much more comfortable on top of my scalp and falls out more easily after my hair is dried. I prefer this as then I don't have to worry as much about a huge plaque being stuck in my thick black hair! I usually leave it for maybe 10mins directly on my scalp and it really does sooth the area so much. It also makes my hair a lot softer despite me not actually running it through. I've tried the shampoo from the same company and didn't find it to be as conditioning as this but obviously everyones hair is different.I honestly cannot recommend this product enough if you suffer from scalp psoriasis. It may not cure it or even decrease the area it covers at all, but it can make it incredibly less bothersome.

As a sufferer of Psoriasis for many years I've been stuck with the usual creams and ointments prescribed by the doctor. I have found these to be a little hit and miss as one day they will help greatly, and the next barely do anything if not make it worse. I have used bath salts for a few years and have generally found these have helped, but nothing has been as good as the Dead Sea Spa Magik range of products. This scalp mud is so simple to apply and from the minute it touches my hair/scalp my often itchy scalp feels relaxed and rehydrated. Have used this for a few weeks now and the difference has been remarkable, it leaves my hair/scalp in much better condition than any of the products prescribed by my doctor, and well worth try !

Non so cosa farei se un giorno lo togliessero dal commercio. Ho un problema di cute secchissima con dermatite che 5 dermatologi non hanno saputo risolvere. Lo applico dopo lo shampoo e massaggio per qualche minuto

I suffer from Scalp Psoriasis, prescription medication is too harsh and TGel stinks!This scalp mask provides a soothing relief, has a nice natural scent to it that doesn’t stick around too long. It does not clear psoriasis (and it doesn’t say it will) but it does soothe it. My scalp is not itchy all day long anymore. In addition, my scalp health is better as I can see it in my hair.
