Bought to use during power cuts
Love the shape and brightness of light it produces I do not mind the colour of the lamp which is white but I was expecting it to be beige.

Very lovely but it could be brighter
A beautiful lamp, and it suits my room perfectly. The only thing I’ll say is I thought it would be brighter, as in the photos on Amazon the lamp appears to shine more, and I wanted to use it to be able to read in late evenings without turning on the big light.

Where would you put an off/on switch on a lamp?
The lamp is attractive and pleasant to look at.However the on/off switch is situated on the underneath area at the bottom of the lamp. This results in you waking in the dark trying to find the on/off button.

OK, but not that good quality
The design of this light is very nice, and it's great for cheering up a dark corner with no power sockets (we have it in the area under the stairs). But close up it looks cheaper than I'd expected, very mass-produced and the coating on the glass is a bit variable in places. It does the job, but all the hype in the description is pretty misleading.
