Q: Does this actually include the metal bracket and screw clamp? Just bought another pictured like yours but was just sent the net.

Hello, I received a net and the clamp assembly. It didn't need anything else for it to work.

Q: Can you attach to one side only to play single player, then fold other side down for 2 player?

Not sure what you are trying to achieve, but - it is possible to attach net brackets to one side of the table. I only use in two player mode on a table in two individual sections on a separate frame, all non-folding though. There is a good tensioning system on this net using a chain attached to the net cord each side and the chain clips securely into the bracket - much better than a plain tie or loop cord system that should make life easier for you as well.

Q: Is the length of net ajustable?

The net has a sleeve that drops over the stanchion pile with a string to a key ring, which has a ball tensioning chain that clips into a slot on the outside of the base arm. The net is sized for a standard table. It is possible to release the knots on the string and extend it by around 100mm each side. To shorten it, with care wrap the net around the post each end and use the tensioner. You may have to tighten the knot on the key ring; it will be more difficult to tension the net with the wrap round but not impossible.

Q: My dining room table is 8cm thick. Will the clamp open this wide ?

Max jaw capacity is 45mm (4.5cm) but I would not practically go over 40mm or 'inch and a half' in imperial. Will therefore not fit your table. TT tables generally not more than 25mm.
