I'm sure it should not be used in that way.... it says on the packet don't use if there are cuts/wounds in the skin. Suggest you talk with your local pharmacist? All the best.

Do these interfere with other medication

No, not as far as I know, I take co-codamol,ibuprofen and antidepressants and never had a problem with them :)
