Bad Music for Bad People

BUT IT IS ONE HECK OF AN ALBUM.FEATURING THE FIRST TWO LINE UPS.AND IN MY OPINION THE BEST, THIS IS A FANTASTIC INTRODUCTION TO THE CRAMPS.EVERY SONG IS GREAT.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Fun and different this album makes me want to dance or roll around on the floor singing along. This was the first album by The Cramps I've bought and it certainly won't be the last. This album includes various covers of rockabilly and garage songs including She Said by Hasil Adkins which could easily be one of the best on the album alongside New Kind of Kick and Goo Goo Muck. The artwork has become synonymous with The Cramps and somewhat of a logo for the band and rockabilly music in general. This album is a great introduction to The Cramps and lets you know upfront what to expect from them.

I had never heard The Cramps untill recently,having watched the remake of Poltergeist I was curious about the song played in the end credits.A little research revealed it to be TV SET by Spoon so I looked it up on You Tube and spotted The Cramps version .After playing the complete album BMFBPI was hooked and ordered the cd and am now a fan of their infectious sound,will be ordering more from their back catalogue soon.

this is one of the very best and reminds me when i used to go and see them in the early 80's they were fantastic and this does not disappoint truly brilliant
