So a major issue with this book is utility. The book itself is full of lore nearly 180 pages of lore in a 260 page book which is fine but in terms of utlity my issue is this. How many times will the party ever need to know the back story of the lords of hell? There are also only 3 prestige classes offered in this book so not really much. Some additional spells or monsters or magic items or feats make up the rest of the pages. Not a bad book and what is there is interesting but by no means would i say this is a book needed by anyone.

Leider doch nicht ein neuer Klon von D&D The Plane Below Buch. Oberflächlich,leider und zu schnell rausgehauen. Lohnt sich nicht mal für einen Pathfinder Fan. Würde es nicht wieder kaufen.

This is a great resource for anyone looking to incorporate fiends of all kinds into their game or even taking the fight directly to them. There is a wealth of info here on demon lords in particular that people might be unfamiliar with, especially if you don't own the previously released three volume paperback set from which this is largely taken. The artwork is generally good, though I wasn't crazy about the supposed pages from the Book of the Damned at the end. They seemed too campaign specific and were kind of boring to read. But if you like devils, demons daemons (yeah, not yuguloths), demodands, and the like, pick this up. I should add that I don't even play Pathfinder. I revamp the monsters for a house ruled combo of D&D and Castles & Crusades. But I have all the Pathfinder bestiaries for the variety of monsters.
