power was internally shorted to ground
was a fuel pump replacement for a 07 vt1100 im a certified ase L1 master technician .. im very experienced and very knowledgeable not my choice of part I'd understand a month before a failure at least not right out of the box installed kept blowing the 10 amp fuse .. unplugged pump. put test light pwr up fine like normal circuit is good . used a pwr probe to pwr up the new pump kept blowing the circuit breaker of the pwr probe .that's time and money wasted now I have to go out of my way to send it offto get my refund
