Very recommended for the price.
Works for the purpose. Can also use to protect from gas if you buy more expensive filters. The price I paid was the motivation to buy this over other brands and models. Now that I saw a news report about Houston in America spraying their population with unsafe pesticides, it made me think. Sure I am not in America but if my country started doing that it would very seriously make me angry at the potential health problems, so I figured I would add a review on my respirator. You can use P3 particulate filters like the one I have or you can even buy full-on gas filters to protect from about everything in existence nearly. So it's futureproofing your capability for safety, whether doing some DIY/Home improvements etc or wanting it for more "defence" aspects to protect your health. This mask takes standard 40mm filters. The type of filter connector is known as either standard 40mm or "STANAG" or "RD40" or "NATO" or "EN 148-1". If you want a particulate filter (which can protect against inhaling germs and virus as well as dusts and spores etc) then get a P3 filter. If you want to protect against as much as possible, get a filter called an ABEKP filter which may have a rating like "A2 B2 E2 K2 P3" which will give you major protection from most things you may encounter inside and outside the home. Those ABEKP3 filters are the kind used by military forces to protect their people from biological, chemical and radioactive things. Of course for some of those you would need full body protection like the special suits but I digress. I wanted a respirator to have something more capable for the future and perform the same job as the disposable masks. Now I have ordered some ABEKP3 filters just to have them on hand in case I should ever have the need.

Superb for overhead dirt and dust
This is ideal for filthy, dusty (pulling down lath and plaster ceilings, or fitting insulation) overhead working. Whereas before with a mask that enclosed only my nose and mouth, a bucketful of dusty filth to the face would stop me working until I'd shovelled my eyes out. With this on I don't even blink any more as the decades of grime rattles off the visor - an occasional wipe with the glove restores crystal clear vision. It's much heavier and hotter than the masks I have which enclose only nose and mouth, so I tend to use this one only when I'm at risk of receiving a face full of dirt. It seals onto my face and head very well, but the straps can feel a bit tight after hours of use. I find the easiest way of donning and doffing it is to simply unclip on one side of the chin. The rubber straps are held onto the face piece by those hooks which I've only ever seen otherwise on suspender belts. They're very easy to take off, but a bit fiddly to put back on again. The big filters on this thing seem to last quite well - breathing isn't noticeably restricted even after several days of extremely dusty working. My nose-and-mouth mask with smaller dual filters is much harder to breathe through on the morning of day two and i don't believe I've ever got to the end of a second dirty day on a pair of those filters without needing to change them so I could breathe again.5 stars because I couldn't imagine a similar product being better than this one.
