Repairing my belt with this kit was far cheaper than buying a new one means I can continue using the gift from my parents.

Bought this set for craftwork and leather repair. Perfect for bags and belts, small home-made accessories etc. but you will need something sturdier for large items or shoes. Easy to use, and all you need is a household hammer; hit the rivet smartly in the centre and away you go. Best get a proper hole punch though, as the one in the kit is too blunt - hence 4 stars not 5.

Couple popped back out...need really firm pliers to grip well

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it seems very hard to get these to work. The stem bends to one side rather then flattening into the cap and they go on skewed. Then even if I do succeed in getting one on straight, they are weak and pop off under the slightest strain.

This is a great set, needed it for doing a pair of sandals that had a horrible big buckle on that I took off and needed something to cover the hole it left. Worked perfect and will come in handy for future projects

I love these, they work amazingly well, and they are very durable. I use them on my leather sheaths, which I make and run through the ringer and not a single one has popped, and the two holding the blade strap have been going strong for about 2 months now, I use my knife every 30 minutes or so daily to use and not a single issue to report. Might I also add that these are beautiful little rivets, and I intend on using these on just about every leather product I make!

Ottimo set, semplice ma completo ed efficiente. Adatto per chi ama risolvere da se' problemini altrimenti difficili. Io l'ho usato per fissare, in maniera ineccepibile, una stecca metallica di rinforzo all'interno di una borsa in pelle. La borsa e' molto bella (e costosa) ma presenta delle brutte pieghe verticali, appena si mette qualcosa nella borsa, in corrispondenza dell'attaccatura dei manici, perche' troppo floscia nella linea superiore E' bastato mettere all'interno, invisibile, una stecca di alluminio fissandola con quattro rivetti neri (la pelle e' nera) per avere un fissaggio robusto della stecca, una borsetta non floscia, una finitura da bravo artigiano. Le bombature dei rivetti vengono perfette e belle da vedere. Consigliatissimo!
