We recommend using line with a 0.30mm diameter or less. However, it should still function with that diameter line.

Has someone put braided line on this ?

We don't recommend the use of braided line with this reel.

Can i ise this reel for Saltwater fishing?

I don’t think that it would be my choice for saltwater fishing although i’ve never tried it. I use my Mitchel 300 reel whenever fishing saltwater for pink or silver salmon etc. However, I do use my Zebco 202 at a local lake to catch smaller trout in the 10-16 inch range and think that it’s perfect for that.

What is the heavest line this will handle?

This reel comes pre-spooled with 10lb mono, but if you choose to re-spool, with different line we recommend staying at or below line with a diameter of 0.30mm.
