WB SOCKSMen's Thick Cotton Coolmax Walking Socks 2 Pair Pack

Bought these as the previous, much more expensive walking socks had fallen apart in the washing machine after only 4 washes. I was not expecting much from these to be honest, given the price but I am very pleased with them. They fit me very well (size 8 shoe), are warm and dry and even after a 15 mile hike, did not give me any blisters. Only thing I will suggest to anyone, wash them first before wearing them for the first time to get rid of the fluff otherwise (like me) you end up with it stuck to you foot when you take the socks off after a long walk!I like them so much I have ordered some more in preperation for more upcoming walks

Socks are comfortable and well padded. I expected some of the fibres to 'rub off' in the first few weeks of use, but I was surprised at the amount of black fibre sticking to my feet when I took the socks off after wearing them for a 10 hour shift ! First tip - don't take the socks off whilst standing on a carpet - the black sock fibres transfer effortlessley into the carpet pile ! You are better removing them in the bathroom before taking a shower or bath ! Second tip - wash the socks inside out to remove loose fibres. However, don't wash them with any items that are light in colour - the black fibres again seems to stick to these items with a vengeance and you will be busy with sticky tape getting them off ! After 4 washes I am still getting fibres coming off the inside of the socks. That said, I would still purchase these socks again as they are comfortable to wear.

The items were as described on the net. having purchased this make before, |I knew what to expect. The packaging was more than adequate. I wear these with walking shoes and also boots. They keep the feet warm and are thicker in the necessary pressure areas. The colours, can and do go with just about any outdoor footwear. I was also pleased with the price as I know that some outdoor wear can be very expensive due to it's engineering for purpose, but I feel you have that, with the price I paid..

Comfy socks, just what I was expecting.

Husband is happy. Been moaning his feet hurt after been on his feet all day, kept telling him to get proper mountain/boot socks. But he kept saying they’d be too thick. So I just ordered some and now he loves them. Have ordered him another lot. Nice comfy, dry feet & perfect fit

Ordered these socks as they were supposed to be the same brand as my previous twin pack, just a different colour. These socks shed and quickly go thinner in some places. I could have these on quicker delivery but wish I had waited and got some the same as my previous purchase. Poor value for money ☹️

All I can say is am am not a walker so last year I did a walking challenge with a friend and got very bad blisters so we decided to re try it again this year which is why I bought these socks. The result was that I got no blisters even after walking 4 hours in heavy rain with soaking feet. So although I cannot say the socks were responsible totally for no b listers they did apear to make a difference. Socks are rather thick so not sure how useful they would be in summer or on warm days

I know these are men's socks but the ladies ones are not thick enough and sometimes not big enough.Some of my boots are a bit on the big side so these socks are just ideal. My only criticism is that the tops leave a lovely mark ariound you leg for a while.
