other ratings said they were on the heavy side and sharp. they were correct!

I've put 3 stars against each section, because the first time we used these, the 'twisty handle' broke. Expected better from this company, and they were returned. They were sharp, and not heavy; but obviously not up to the quality you'd expect. Might just be a 'one off' - but I wouldn't recommend this brand.

Bought for Daughter-in-law, so she didn't need to bend down to trim grass in her natural garden. Had intended to pass on my Grandfather's ones from about 80 years ago (he was a Head Gardener on a big estate, but somehow they were lost in house moves). Daughter in law reports they are perfect, so will buy a pair for myself. Only comment is that Amazon packed them in a cube box which hardly fitted my door and packed them out with so much paper (now recycled for wrapping). Will buy some for myself as bending down becomes harder with my advanced years!!!

I cannot use them as too heavy for me an 81 year old

It is heavy but I have health issues which I do struggle with lifting etc. Very good quality and cuts well and both handles can extend. All in all if I had no health issues I most definitely would have done the whole garden with this beauty.

Easy to use, reasonably sharp long- handled shears that are not heavy or cumbersome. Quality and functionality good for the price.

… what else is there to say? They’re fairly lightweight and sharp and better than my previous ones.
