Excellent Leather Cleaner โ Leaves Seats Looking Fresh
This Autoglym leather cleaner works really well. It removes dirt and marks quickly without damaging the leather, and it leaves the surface feeling clean and fresh. I like that it doesnโt leave any greasy residue โ the finish looks natural, just as it should. The spray bottle is easy to use, and a little product goes a long way, so the 500ml size lasts quite a while. From Drab to Fab, Autoglym Leaves My Car Leather Squeaky Clean
Oh boy, where do I even start with Autoglym Leather Cleaner? This stuff is like magic in a bottle! I mean, I've seen my fair share of dirty car interiors, but this leather cleaner took it to a whole new level of clean. Buckle up, folks, because I've got a hilariously clean story to share! First off, let me tell you, my car leather was in serious need of some TLC. It looked like it had been dragged through a mud-filled swamp, then rolled around with a family of raccoons. It was embarrassing to even let my friends ride shotgun. That's when a friend recommended Autoglym Leather Cleaner, promising that it would restore my car's leather to its former glory. The moment I laid my eyes on this 500ml bottle, I couldn't help but unleash a maniacal laugh. "Behold, the holy grail of automotive cleanliness!" I proclaimed as I prepared my cleaning arsenal. Armed with only a sponge and a bucket of water, I embarked on an epic battle to vanquish the dirt and grime from my car's leather interior. Now, let me tell you, the scent of this cleaner is something out of this world. I had to double-check if there was a hidden air freshener attached, but nope, it was just the sweet aroma of victory. It smelled so good that I momentarily forgot I was cleaning a car and started giving my leather seats the equivalent of a spa treatment. "You're worth it, dear cushiony heaven!" I whispered to my car seats while wearing a foamy moustache. With a flick of my sponge, dirt started disappearing like magic. This cleaner not only deep-cleans, but it also seemed to have some mind-altering properties that made me momentarily believe I was an expert car detailer. I must confess, I started getting a bit carried away, tackling every leather surface in sight - steering wheel, armrests, even the gear shifter. Nothing was safe from my newfound cleaning frenzy! By the time I stopped, I had transformed my car's leather from a neglected disaster to something fit for a glossy magazine spread. It was practically sparkling! Even my friends thought I had gotten my interior professionally done, little did they know it was all thanks to Autoglym Leather Cleaner and my remarkable ability to go a tad overboard with cleaning supplies. So, dear reader, if you're seeking a product that will not only give your car leather a deep cleanse but also send you into a temporary state of cleaning madness, Autoglym Leather Cleaner is the way to go. Just be sure to warn your friends about your newfound cleaning obsessions before they accidentally end up with you scrubbing their shoes or something. Trust me on that.

Worked well to remove gime and unwanted 'fragrances' accumulated over many years
Used as a general cleaning product before refurbishing black full-leather car seats and inside panels. Product must be neutralised after application a using damp cloth. Washes out of a microfibre cloth easily. A pleasant fresh leather fragrance after application. Used this first and later neutralised with water. Then a thin metal spatula (like that used for opening mobile phone cases) to spread Scratch Doctor filler very sparingly across the grain of cracks in a leather car seat. Cleared off as much as possible while carefully making sure there was enough of the filler left in the crack to build it up. Use a clean cloth gently to โlevelโ any imperfections and balance the filled areas. Wait for hardening, then buff. Repeat as necessary using very thin layers to build up. Keep the filler as close to the area as possible with as little spreading beyond the cracked area as possible. Later used Furniture Clinic recolouring balm and spatula to apply colour quite thickly, then used a neutral cotton cloth to spread the recolouring gel balm across the wider area โ the whole panel. Work on one specific area/panel at a time. Wait a few minutes before buffing with a microfibre cloth. Leave for a couple of hours and reapply if necessary and rebuff. The surface will change from matt to satin reflection. Areas where the filler has been used may show a slight dark grey discolouration (from black) even after a couple of colour treatments. Wait about ten minutes after colour re-application, cloth to spread over the area, buff and then leave for a few hours. Use a clean microfibre cloth to buff to make sure no colour is coming off. Then apply leather care balm area by area using a microfibre cloth. This will lift some of the colour onto the cloth, (keep turning the cloth) buff again after a few minutes and check for colour fastness. It might be sensible to not wear white clothes when seated, at least till the surface becomes colourfast. Overall, the combination of Autoglym Leather Cleaner, Scratch Doctor filler, Furniture Clinic Recolouring balm and Autoglym Leather Care balm worked well on black leather car seats. Very good at filling in nicks and minor scuffs. For any tears or rips, use Bostick rubberised superglue ( or Bostick instant) to 're-lay' before applying filler and other treatments. There are plenty of videos on the internet to guide on more complicated repairs. The best finish can only be achieved by full refurbishing, using fine (eg 1200 grit) sanding, rigorous time-consuming preparation and spraying the leather with colour-matched paint to restore the original finish. This is something of a specialist art. While this combination of products is quite expensive (and others were not tried) the results are more than acceptable on older black grained leather seats.
