Orchard Toys Magical Castle Jigsaw Puzzle

Excellent jigsaw, really impressed with the quality.We bought this for our 3 year old who has completed it three times, with help. We've all enjoyed looking at all of the small, fun, diverse details in the picture.It's larger than expected but still suitable to use on a table top. The fact that there is a different feature on most, if not all, pieces (person/animal) makes it easy to follow the picture on the box if she gets stuck. I think by 4 years old she would be able to do this unaided and expect to have enjoyment from it for a few years.

A fantastic jigsaw puzzle. We love the Orchard Toys jigsaw puzzles (we being myself and my two year old daughter) - the pieces are of great quality and the pictures on them are always excellent, well drawn, beautifully coloured and with some great little details. This jigsaw is also an unusual shape, which makes it even more of challenge for little ones. The household pictured does make me smile though - several women of different ethnicities and not a man in sight! I am hoping that this was simply the whim of the artist and not some deliberate subliminal message to children that households do not necessarily consist of Mum, Dad and two kids. It would be a shame if even something that gives as much old-fashioned simple pleasure as a jigsaw puzzle has to succumb to political correctness...

My children, now 3 and 6 years old, love this puzzle. This is the second copy we have bought of it. They have been doing this puzzle nearly every day for over a year now. They lost some pieces from the first copy (who knows where - mysterious, like the single sock that goes missing in the washing machine) so I just had to purchase it again for them (they would still do it with pieces missing).Very educational, first in building their 'motor' skills and then finding and recognising items from the picture when asked to find them (even more useful for the 3 year old who has been doing this for nearly a year now (he was a slow walker and a slow talker so this really brought him on).The pieces are nice and thick (robust) and the right size for 'little hands'. 50 pieces is the right quantity in being 'achievable' (i.e. not daunting) for them.

My 3 year old loves this jigsaw, lots to look at and spark conversation. Very durable and fits together with ease.

I like orchard products, they are always made of really sturdy card and are bright and colourful. I also like the fact there is an educational guide on the back so that you can make the most of the time you spend doing the jigsaw with your child.The reason I give this jigsaw 4 stars instead of 5 is that (at the time of purchase) the jigsaw supplied does not match the picture amazon have. I bought from amazon and not a third party seller so expected to receive the exact item I ordered.Saying that, the jigsaw is still nice and the same Orchard quality. I have included a picture so people can see what they may receive. There are a lot more characters in the version I receieved which I suspect is to make it easier for children to complete and give more scope for discussion when doing it with an adult.

Lovely puzzle, my 3 year old loves it! I love it even more as it can give me like 20 minutes of peace knowing she is entertained without needing my constant attention. And when we play with it together it is also a very nice puzzle, with lots to talk about when looking at the picture. Big hit here. Worth every penny. Good quality and sturdy pieces.

Very popular here with the kids. The youngest uses it for playing with dollies on top of it, treating it as a makeshift dolls house. Great for imaginary play!The puzzle pieces are thick and sturdy, large, perfect for little hands. Different colour rooms and various reference points (cat, dog, flowers) help with teaching little ones how to find necessary pieces / match areas up.

Great jigsaw for little ones. Grand daughter is nearly 3 and she loves the Orchard Toys ones. Large bright, sturdy cardboard pieces with a big picture with it. This one has 70 pieces . This one was great value for money.

Las piezas són gruesas y las il·lustracions són muy bonitas. Todo el dibujo del puzzle està lleno de infinidad de detalles, a mi niña de tres años les ha gustado mucho. Està marca tiene unos puzzles de muy buena calidad.

Jai passé un super moment avec mes enfants a faire ce puzzle. Comme beaucoup de produit orchard. Je recommande.

Puzzle acheté il y a 2 ans pour faire un calendrier de l'avant.Ma fille de 3 ans découvrait tous les matins un petit paquet contenant une piece.L'image est très jolie, douce et colorée.Nous avons adoré.

Bought it for my 3.5 yr old and we both ended up enjoying it immensely. The pieces are large enough for little hands to handle and the pictures interesting to keep them engaged to complete the puzzle. There is plenty of detailing in the pictures and the different colours of the rooms/parts of the house make it easy enough for a child to work her way through the puzzle.

Bellissimi colori..Per la mia di 2 anni e mezzo è un pochino difficile ma con l'aiuto di un adulto che la guidi nella ricerca dei pezzi si diverte molto a farlo..Lo consiglio vivamente
