Baby Nails™ - The Wearable Baby Nail File (6 Months)

I really love this product! I initially bought the Thumble which is for birth to 6 months and used it so much. Now my daughter is 8 months I now have the 6+ months. I never found it very easy to bite my daughters nails off (as they suggest you do with a newborn) so needed something to take away all the sharp bits of her nails. I looked online and found the Thumble, gave it a go and have never looked back. Its so easy to use and in a great little carry case. My daughters nails grow so quickly so doing her nails with The Thumble has become a weekly thing for us.Would highly recommend.

This was great for my son as he wriggles and cries every time getting his nails cut and his nails cut uneven. The filer really helped smooth the sharp bits left after cutting his nails to he did not scratch himself or my nose. I've ran out of the stripes this week and saw the refills cost nearly as much as the whole set. Since he's 2 now, I'm going to start using a soft adult filer. It was great using the thumble for the past year and a half and highly recommend it new mums.

I bought these after a failed attempt at cutting my babies nails with clippers as I had seen these advertised and it seemed like a great alternative but was disappointed. The thumb piece was much too large so constantly slipped off and the emery boards did not adhere well so it was all a bit of a faff. I also found where my baby’s nails are so flimsy the the nail ended up just splitting so was more jagged than when I started. Ended up going back to the nail clippers and was much more successful.

We've used Baby Nails Thumble since our son was born (he is now 7 months old). The first set was given to us as a gift and we've just used the last file so bought the pack for 6 months and above as it's impossible to use nail scissors or clippers on him. Anyone with little ones will know how terrifying it is to cut your baby's finger nails and the Thumble takes away the nervousness of cutting a finger off!! As an active 7 month old, it's virtually impossible to get our son to sit still long enough to get his nails done, but at least with Thumble you can give it a good go even whilst he's waving his arms around!

This is a great idea for a product - however I feel it is far over priced for a thumb piece and poor sticking nail files. The file became unstuck whilst I was using it on my daughters 2nd hand, so you’re pretty fast I’m going through the files sent. I found you also have to cut their nails first, and this is solely for filing off the sharp edges. I wouldn’t usually leave reviews but the sellers have been very persistent in asking!

Unfortunately this product didn't work well for my daughter. I have found it much easier to use nail clippers and less time consuming aswell. She was around 8 months at the time. My friend with a newborn at the time raved about this product, so decided to try it. However, on this occasion I was left disappointed.

Good in theory, doesn't really file baby nails all to well... mostly splits the nail and then it's even harder to file and you are left with an uneven nail which baby could catch on things. Disappointed but great concept.

My babies toenails were really long, sharp and funny angles so hard to cut with nail clippers - this product was brilliant to file them down nice a smoothly. I think they would work well on fingers too when you need to smooth off jagged edges after you’ve cut them. It was really easy to use as well!
