Great Case Fans!
This is a brilliant case fan. It is quiet but still manages to push a lot of air. The fan feels very well built, much more-so than my Corsair AF140s which I replaced with this Noctua fan. The rubber mounts supplied ensure that there is no vibration and they work very well. I am using only noctua fans in my Corsair 300r case and I am able to turn the fans down to 50% and achieve almost complete silence. Overall I am very impressed with this fan, and Noctua fans in general. Although they come at a price premium, they are worth every penny if you can afford them and their warranty allows for a long lifespan. If you have the money, I cannot recommend these enough.

For the Corsair H100i
I have a Corsair H100i water cooler. The stock fans that come with it perform well but I found them too noisy. The next best choice was therefore this. Noctua are a very well known name when it comes to fans, and their color scheme (like it or hate it) is recognizable. This works perfectly well with the H100i and provides great cooling. I currently have it in a pull configuration but am planning to get another pair for a push-pull.When these speed up or slow down, the noise is barely audible and stays below 20dbIf the color scheme is a big turnoff for you, search for the Noctua Redux line, they are slightly cheaper and come in a gray-ish color.

Others have said it, and I'll say it again. These fans are great.
These fans are excellent for environments where you need high airflow at reasonably high static pressure, for example, on heatsinks or in tight builds. They run quietly and reliably and I would recommend them for the use cases stated above. One thing to note is that these fans are not compatible with the anti-vibration pads for the corners of the fans found on the likes of the chroma fans, however, you could modify the pads or the fan to accommodate these, otherwise you can use some mounting tape to achieve the same effect, however, I doubt that these fans will introduce much vibration into your system.

High price but performs very well on tight or thick radiators; quiet at low speed but annoying 'whine' tone at high rpm
Noctua fans are pricey but do perform well. This fan has high static pressure -what that means is it is particularly good for any coolers with fins very close together or radiators in eg.closed loop coolers such as the corsair H100. It does a really good job in that setting.I used two to replace the stock fans on an Antec 920 closed loop cooler. They were much quieter and produced much better cooling. The only disadvantage is that the unusual blade shape makes an odd whining type noise at maximum rpm, which is more irritating than most comparable fans. Thankfully below 1000 rpm they are nearly silent and still perform extremely well.Pros+ great performance on radiators or coolers+ quiet but pushes a lot of airCons+ fan blades produce annoying whine at maximum speed+ expensive

Silent, not deadly
Whisper quiet, with a good rate of airflow... What more can you want from a fan?I got two of these to replace some corsair fans that I was using, and although I was expecting a reduction is noise, just how much quieter they were, managed to shock me.Often when running fans in PWM mode, I notice an audible whine, especially so at very low speed, yet these manage to rev as low as ten percent, without any annoyance. If you are worried about value, do not be afraid of paying the little extra for these, it's money well spent.

High Quality and Worthwhile Upgrade.
As others have said, this is a very high quality item. If you've ever bought case or CPU fans before you'll know the general quality available. This Noctua fan rises far above. It is impeccably packaged along with a 4-pin extension cable, a speed-reduction cable and four silicone anti-vibration mounting pins, all neatly laid-out in a plastic tray within the cardboard carton.Fitting the fan is as easy as any other depending on what use you make of it. For me this meant attaching it to my Zalman CPU cooler using the Zalman clips. On first use I was surprised to hear nothing. I wondered if the fan wasn't turning and dived into the PC BIOS to check. Sure enough it was, at a mere 365rpm. One of the stand-out features of this fan is the built-in micro-controller that smooths out the PWM signals used to regulate fan speed. Lesser fans turn the extremely rapid on-off switching this involves into a kind of buzz that varies with fan speed. With the Noctua that is a thing of the past. Their system works very well. The warranty this item comes with looks very generous and given Noctua's confidence in offering it, I can only assume this quality fan is designed to last. For any future fan purchases I will certainly be looking at the Noctua range first for a suitable item.Highly recommended

Almost silent, modest airflow. But so quiet!
Very quiet, very good. This particular model NF-P12 is very quiet but airflow very steady, fine for 'normal' CPU cooling or for a machine with a low load, would query using this for a 24/7 rendering machine or something that might need extra airflow if ambient air temps increased. For a an OC 6500K overclocked CPU on a Corsair aircooler in an ITX, swapping this out has been great so far and so silent

Broke after 26 months - Replaced under warranty
I purchased 4 Noctua fans in Jan 2017 for my server. 3 are working fine now 27 months later. 1 broke in February. I still give them 5 stars as:1) they do feel of good quality and i'm generally very happy with them, low noise, air movement etc. all good2) problems occur but when they do, does the mfg stand behind the product 6 year warranty? Yes they do.I'm happy. My only, and i mean only constructive criticism - the process for the warranty replacement is a bit reactive, reflexive vs a proactive focus of getting a customer back up and running immediately. Specifically, I sent a warranty request, they responded and asked for more info (serial number), then they wrote back wanting a photo of the fan disabled and the letter in the photo (all fine). Then they placed the order for the replacement which came a week later. So If my server was down due to the fan breaking, it would be off-line for 1 to two weeks. I get the reason for the process but it would help if they just told you up front what to provide to accelerate a ligit replacement.Again, i'm happy and I would and have bought more of their products.

Silence et performance
Super matos!
