Silicone Baking Sheet, Silicone Baking Mat Set Not Stick Silicone Mat for Baking with Measurement 30x42cm 2 Pack

I bought this product as I often make macarons and thought the guide would be useful. I used the mat on the same day the item was delivered and was really disappointed. The mat is WAY too thick and doesn’t allow enough heat through from the tray to cook the macarons.I cooked two trays of macarons from the same mixture, one cooked on the silicone mat and one on the baking paper I usually use.I have posted the results as photos and it is obvious what a difference there is. The ones cooked on the mat had a longer cooking time as I just couldn’t get them to cook throughout. The feet did not rise at all.I’ve wasted £12 and half a batch of macaron mixture. Not impressed.

All I can say is that they're baking sheets. They grip well to the baking tray and the macaron guides are useful. Other than that, they're not great. They're NOT non-stick, meaning I have to throw away about half of every batch of macarons I make because they don't come off the sheet cleanly. They also emit a horrible chemical smell when baking. Not great.

Great product at a great price. I'm very happy with these mats, they do the job well and they're easy to clean. The small circles are 4cm by the way (as shown in the image)

They are perfect for desserts and they are very useful in the oven. I really like this. I cannot cook without them

Only issue with thes are that they're a bit too big to line my baking trays!They do the job though- nothing sticks and the size guides have made my macaroons more perfect!
