What a lump, a great asset when wood splitting, giving lots of power with it's weight. I suffer with arthritis in my thumbs and wrists, but paired with a high quality chisel, it made light work of the mega sized logs. I did start to get a blister on the side of my thumb, so you may want to wear gloves.

Having used this hammer metal to metal against a timber splitting wedge for a couple of hours I can honestly say it is definitely well made. I was also confident in the knowledge that the head would not fly off the handle as has happened in the past with previous wooden handled versions.

A very solid and sturdy hammer. Once you've spent the afternoon swinging this against a cold chisel, your arms certainly know about it. Great for the job and equally a great work out / toning your arm muscles at the same time.

A nice weighty hammer (4lb) with a strong fibreglass handle that reduces the level of finger numbing vibrations you can get when working with concrete or Yorkshire stone. The handle itself is thick enough to be able to get a safe but comfortable grip of. This is my favourite hammer for getting rid of a bit of steam with, a job it performs well.

If you need a hammer to hit things with, this is the one to buy. It looks great in the garage too, as I always find myself drawn to it and wondering If I can use it in some way, in a way that saws and screwdrivers fail to do. My neighbour purchased one as well on my recommendation and he loves his as well. Go on treat yourself to a great hammer.

Schön schwer. Damit bekommt man die Heringe vom Zelt super gut auch in harten Boden. Im Gegensatz zu Gummihanmern geht der nicht an den Heringen kaputt.
