Good stuff!We tried everything to stop our shower drain smelling from pouring bleach, Milton fluid, Mr Muscle drain cleaner and even the anti bacterial sticks you can now buy. Nothing worked so I purchased the above product as a last resort.The container was easy to open and I couldn't detect a strong smell from the product. I waited until the evening to pour the liquid down the drain (wearing rubber gloves as the liquid is caustic) I poured approximately half the bottle down the drain and waited to see if anything bubbled - no bubbling and thought 'I hope it's worked'Left the liquid in the drain overnight, woke up and went into the bathroom expecting the same horrible smell - no smell! Still no smell over a week later!After trying several other products to get rid of the smell, I believe I had hair trapped in the drain which bacteria was growing in. This product removed the hair so the bacteria couldn't grow.Brilliant!!

This is the most amazing product. My en-suite has a shower, sink and toilet that all feed through a saniflo. The shower drainage pipe gets blocked with hair every now and then leaving me standing in 2 inches of water as I shower. Until now, I have had a saniflo engineer or plumber out to clear the blockage costing me £85 a time. I thought I would try this after reading the reviews. I poured half a bottle down the shower plughole, left it overnight and then poured boiling water down the following morning. The blockage has completely cleared and the water is draining freely again. I would highly recommend this for anyone with long hair and blocked shower drains !!

This product partially unblocked my drain. The drain was backing up into the bath and running away very slowly. After treatment (whole bottle left working overnight) the water no longer backs up and runs away much more quickly. I can still hear air in the pipes so I believe there is still a partial blockage or maybe the vent is blocked. To be fair, this product succeeded where my auger failed as the problem is way down in the pipework. At £12 it is pretty expensive but for me was the last resort and has more or less worked..

My shower drain has been emptying very slowly the last few months. So I bought a bottle of this stuff. I emptied the drain of as much water as possible then I poured half a bottle down the drain and left it overnight.In the morning I poured a kettle of hot water down the drain and nothing seemed to have happened, so I went outside to the drain pipe and asked my wife to run the shower, which she did then I heard a splutter and a cough (sort of) and a load of black gunk came out of the drain, yippee.Shower is now back to normal and draining perfectly and I still have half s bottle left for next timeVery happy and 30x cheaper than a plumberHighly recommended by me and happy long showers.

If you have a blocked pipe in sink, toilet, shower or bath. You only need this bottle TRUST ME. Iv tried various pipe unblocking products and none have worked. But this product I got to say works 100%. Pour some down your pipes in the night and go sleep and wake up in the morning and you will see the block fully gone in the pipe.This is safe for plastic or metal pipes. It works by dissolving dirt, hair and grease in the pipe works which are usually the main culprits for pipe blockage. No need to call out a plumber.

Ordered this mainly for bath, as I have thick hair that clogs up everything. Used in the kitchen sink too as is a big bottle. Worked well in getting rid of grease build up in the kitchen but was no match for hair.

So I never pictured myself writing a glowing review of drain cleaner but this one is just so good I had to.Since moving into our flat 6 months ago we've had recurrent problems with the bathroom sink draining slowly. Everytime it came to a complete standstill we would use commercial drain cleaners, then kettle after kettle of boiling water and it would start to drain again, still slowly. Nothing defeated the creepy membrane that furred up the drain walls which appeared to be a nightmare-ish mass of soap, toothpaste and hair, leaving only a tiny narrow gap in the middle for water.Saw this product and was sceptical that it was going to work as nothing had even made a dent on the furred up walls of the drain. And nearly £10 seemed a lot for a drain cleaner. But it seemed cheaper than a plumber or the lifetime of therapy that would result from trying to fish it all out with a sink snake.So I put the whole bottle down there and left it overnight (warning: the warnings on the side of the packet are pretty horrifying and thankfully there was no eye-melting explosion of lye when I did this) and the next day was AMAZED to discover no hint of the creepy membrane that had been previously choking off the drain. Runs clear now and had I bought this in the first place rather than repeated applications of pretty much every other drain cleaner ever I could have saved some money. It's going to be my first port of call next time I need to deal with the horrors of the drain!

I had been struggling with a toilet/shower blockage for a day until I used half of the bottle. It took a few hours but it worked. A bit expensive but now I pour half a bottle every six months to prevent further issues. Don't waste your money on mr muscle products or other home brands, they are useless even if they are labelled for blockages
