I am in love with this totally analog old-fashioned device! It is so simple that I can't imagine it ever breaking!I joined a gym with a walking track, but you have to do 12 laps per mile. I don't have 12 fingers, so counting laps was annoying. (Especially when I worked my way up to 4 miles!)This wonderful gizmo works GREAT, and it's kind of fun!! (I'm easily amused.)It is made of sturdy metal, with a little wheel you turn to reset the counter. It even comes with a lanyard.

Does the job. Mechanical so no worries about batteries. Metal construction, seems it will hold up a while

Works great if you remember to push the button. I don’t always remember even after 4 months. I don’t love reset button, too easy to go past 0000 so you have to start over.

This is a great counter with 2 ways to hold it . It is sturdy , metal, and needs no batteries. It is easy and fast to reset to zero. Who needs technology?

I love this little thing. It feels solid and makes a satisfying, positive click! I started walking laps around the perimeter of my back yard because the weather has been so iffy and the sun sets so early now. I can get my walking in and get inside. No stress about cars plowing me down or loose dogs not liking my choice of music! I measured my "path" and it's 190 feet so if I did my math right, I need to do 28 laps for a mile. You'd be surprised how easily you get screwed up trying to hold up various fingers trying to keep track while the music is playing in your earphones! You just twist the knob and the digits roll back to all zeros, it reminds me of the old mechanical trip odometers cars used to have. Yes, I'm that old.
