A family member who watches my dog had one, and my dog loved it. When we got home I ordered one. It keeps my dog (13lbs) occupied for hours, however, I need to monitor him. I turned my back for about 5 minutes and he chewed a fin off and removed the mechanics (Its a sealed device so nothing the dog could have swallowed) I was shocked how much my dog loves and wants to play with this toy. It really is cool. Just keep an eye on play time. Its a little pricey at $25 bucks for a chew toy. I can't fault the manufacturer because it is our responsibility to monitor our dogs.

My dog is by no means an aggressive chewer. He will take out his toys a play for long periods of time by flipping and catching or fetching with us. No kidding, he had this toy less than 20 minutes and the plastic component that makes the fish flop on the inside was crumbled to bits. And when it did work for the first 20 minutes, the fish barely flopped. Big disappointment.

I started out with a different toy that is similar to this one but it died literally after two days.I’m so glad I purchased this one to replace it, it’s so much better!The outside cover is durable and can take being tossed around in the back yard. It holds a charge well and recharges fast.This is hands down my puppy’s favorite toy

My dogs both absolutely loved this toy! Within an hour both of the fish were all tore up, yes I am glad they liked them. But they’re small dogs, and rarely ever tear there toys! Would work best for a cat in my opinion:)

Keeps the puppy entertained for a few minutes. He loses interest in most things quickly so the motion keeps his attention for at least 10 minutes. He hasn't managed to destroy this after a week so it seems pretty durable for a tiny (12 pound) puppy who shreds everything.

The media could not be loaded.  I can't say how long this will last but this fish toy keeps my dog entertained for hours. I wish I would have known about it a long time ago because my dog does not like a lot of toys. I hope this lasts for a while because she and I both like that it keeps her entertained for a while. The material it is made from what seems to be like a hard canvas and at one place she has spread the threads apart but not drastically. Luckily she is a small dog (11 pounds) so I am hoping that it will last because she is an agreesive chewer. UPDATE: this flopping fish is still my small dog's favorite toy! Unfortunately, my larger dog(30 pounds) tore the cover apart because she is an aggressive chewers. I am so glad that the company includes a second cover because we can let the smaller dog play with it and it should last for at least 6 months. The only thing I worry about with the smaller dog is that she does like to bend it quite a bit. Otherwise it is definitely a hit here! UPDATE: 2/18/2023 dog loves this toy so much they ate the tail off yesterday. Maybe if this toy was made of something more durable, like cast iron! Lol. For real though, the dog loved this toy and I do not regret buying this as it gave them hours of fun!

My Puli loves this fish as much as she possibly can, very chew resistant. Usually she will condition test/destroy any toy we give her immediately, we saw her putting it through the same hell for days and motor still works, the chew resistant fish has held up, no tears or damage what so ever. I was worried while playing fetch that the motor would break but so far it is still going strong. She even loves the fish case without the motor in it!I am mainly writing this review because I came back to buy another because she plays with it so often it easily goes missing for a while.ALSO: i tried to leave pics/video, however the app was not allowing any upload, something def wrong with the app, sorry buds!

Bought one for my miniature schnauzer. Barely flops at all. She was not impressed. Would not buy again.

This is a well loved toy. My pup cries for it if he sees it, or I am repairing it *again*. A dog that likes to chew/mouth the toy will have the mechanism in pieces in a few hours.I loved this toy, and so did he. The section that makes the fish floppy is small and easy to break, I have tried duct tape, elastics, and now i am super gluing it together (🤞).

Our one year old small puppy devoured chewed it to pieces in a night and fin would not work even when I charged fish. I would not recommend this product . Very poor.
