I just bought this (uk9) but they are, surprisingly, too big. i am a 9 in almost everything, occasionally a 10. is this common?

I have the feeling it should be obvious, but can't see it written down anywhere; are these water proof? As in: stepping in mud/puddles ?

Yes they are. I recently purchased a pair for airsoft and I played the weekend after we had really bad rain. The site was very very muddy and wet. After wearing these boots all day my feet were still dry and I had gone through a lot of mud and water. Really comfy boots as well.

I purchased these boots and have been wearing them for about 3 weeks and the sole of the boot has split on both and they are now leaking water

It sounds like they are faulty to me as I wear them in a garage and am walking about in all kinds of oils and such. Mind, Ive only had mine 3 weeks too. It could soon happen to mine
