Easy to turn and grill thoroughly....don’t have kebab ingredients turning loosely on a skewer making it difficult to get a even cook. Love them.

I find using the grilling baskets a preferable method to using skewers which can be difficult to rotate. The baskets hold more vegetables/meat as well. This set of baskets, which are good quality stainless, are open-ended. This means that unless the vegetables/meat are cut into good sized pieces, they will fall out the ends of the basket as they cook. The baskets should have closed ends to keep the food contained.

I like to grill kabobs on the grill and was tired of the meat and veggies falling off when cooking so ordered the baskets. They work just great and cook perfectly. They are some what tricky to clean but with the use of nylon brush and soap to get the heavy build up off before putting in the dishwasher they come out nice and clean. would recommend to any one who likes to grill food.

The clip that holds the baskets together needs an improvement. It keeps popping off!

I ordered 4 of these baskets as I thought they would be very useful for grilling. They are lighter weight than I would have liked, but they have two other flaws that limit their usefulness. First, the wooden handle looks nice when you get them, but they are very impractical if you put the baskets on the grill, they immediately catch on fire. I removed the wooden handle after a bad experience. The second flaw is the flimsey little clip that is used to hinge the top of the basket down. I immediately lost one clip because it fell off and the others come off too easily. One came off while grilling and dumped the whole basket contents on the grill. Overall, just poorly thought out all the way around.

I ordered these because they were stainless and not enamel coated or otherwise painted. They work well, and are almost identical to my other non-stainless set, but a little bit larger. The hinge between the top piece and the basket is kind of flimsy - it works but is not sturdy. As far as function, I love these for kabobs on the grill. Smaller pieces will fall through, but if you make sure your pieces are larger, and fill the baskets to the top, stuff stays in. Takes a little bit longer to cook because of the larger size.
