I’ve been using this curl cream along with the rest of the John Frieda Frizz ease curl products, and this one fits in beautifully with the routine. It defines my curls really well and adds a nice bounce and softness without feeling heavy or sticky.However, I did find that the hold doesn’t last as long as I hoped. My curls tend to fall out or loosen quite a bit within a few hours, especially if I’m out and about. It might work better in combination with a stronger hold gel.Overall, it’s a great product for soft, natural curls — I just wish the definition held up longer throughout the day. Still, it’s worth trying if you love the rest of the line like I do!

Just a small amount worked through slightly damp hair adds body and prevents static. Smells very pleasant and is not sticky. Very effective, easy to use and leaves hair soft and shiny when brushed through.l

Nice scent & easy to use. Only downside it left my curls crispy & not soft.

This mousse gives great volume and hold but it’s just too drying for me. I have low porosity hair which is often dry and frizzy, and this mousse only dried it out more and made it feel and look quite unhealthy. It contains alcohols which makes it so drying and it’s a shame since it does give great volume and it’s very affordable. It could possibly work if used with a hydrating leave in conditioner, but I generally wouldn’t recommend if you have dry or low porosity hair.
