Great item, using on Vauxhall insignia 2011 Sri with updated 2014 opcom software
Excellent item , using on Vauxhall insignia 2011 Sri .. I downloaded the 2014 version software of opcom from online (clone) and also downloaded and installed the firmware for the module from v1.45 to v1.59 . Works a brilliantly .. You can use this to access and change a lot of settings with in your car just like at the dealers . You can start dpf regenerations and also key code extra set of keys . To change and access certain parts of your car you will require a pass code ( 4 digit PIN number ) which is located on a small card with your manuals or service booklets .. If you don't have pass code you can order one from Vauxhall and the cost is between £25 to £40 , just need log book and drivers licence . I've installed the software on a laptop running windows xp pro and installed the drivers with no issues , connected via usb to the laptop and then connected the module to the obd port . Overall excellent product .. Would save lots £££ in the future , highly recommend .

So it is useless.
I ordered this "latest version" last month and have today tried to use it. The software supplied is for a 2010 version and my Zafira is 2013. So when I try to use it, my year of 2013 is not listed and so I cannot use the product. So it is useless.

Needs clear instructions
In the end did the job perfectly but had some issues with running it on window 10 and the instructions could have been improved. For the price it's definitely worth it but when installing drivers you will need to disable driver authentication on your computer in order for it to detect properly.I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who needs to follow instructions as it was more trial and error to get working

Works 100% on 2007 Vectra 1.9 CDTi Automatic Transmission
I have a 2007 Vectra 1.9 CDTI 150ps and this works well! The only thing I will add is that the software is windows only (I'm running on it on windows 10) and the disk the software is provided on is a mini disk format so make sure your laptop is compatible. I had to copy the software from the disk on my desktop and then emailed it to myself so I could use it on my diskless laptop, unlike many other programs this works fine!I purchased this to activate the Xenons option and I also use this diagnosing engine codes. Its a life saver if you have a DPF as this will show the saturation levels so you know when to take it for a blast up the motorway. The software provided can get into every single module in the car from the UEC to the airbag modules. If anyone needs any help in setting this up or using it drop a comment below and I will either help you myself or find someone who can.

Need to install drivers on Windows 10
Works well, (2000 Corsa without OBD2, or paperclip test compliance) especially for the price, but is a nightmare to install on Windows 10, without much help online. How to install on latest version of Win10:1. Copy entire contents of CD to a safe place (eg Documents)2. Go into "OP-COM 08-2010 EN" and create a short cut for "OP-COM" (application), copy the shortcut to desktop or somewhere you'll remember it.3. Go to: Start > Power > and press RESTART whilst holding down the shift key. Computer will restart.4. Go to: Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Start-up settings >Restart (computer will restart again briefly)5. You will see 9 start up settings, hit F7 to select option 76. When booted, open start menu, search "Device Manager", open.7. "OP-COM USB V2 INTERFACE" will be under either "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" or "other devices". Right click, then hit "Update Driver Software...".8. Hit "Browse My Computer For Software"9. "Browse" then find and highlight the folder you copied from the CD. Highlight the entire folder and make sure "Include Subfolders" is checked.10. Windows will warn that the publisher is unvarified, continue. If all is well, the correct hardware driver will install.11. Once installation is complete, and without restarting, open Op-Com using the shortcut you made in step 2.12. Hit Settings > Test Interface. The hardware should now work. You may have to go through steps 3, 4, 5 and 11 each time you want to use the hardware. This is for the latest version of windows 10, as of Aug 16 update.

BEWARE ---- NO PIC18F458 inside!
!!!!BEWARE!!!! This OP-COM does not contain a genuine Microchip PIC18F458 chip, but rather the "op-com" branded one. This is very important and makes all the difference regarding its functionality and capabilities because you cannot update (or downgrade if you so please to do) its firmware. Therefore, because it comes flashed with firmware version 1.45, you cannot use it with a PC OP-COM (Vaux-Com) software that allows you to read the EEPROM memory and thus the security key (PIN) for your Opel car. If you don't already have the access pin for your car, then you will not be able to retrieve it from reading the ECU memory with this device. So, you won't be able to solve the dreaded immobiliser fault that often shows up on the dashboard like the car with a spanner fauld light. It is able to read the DTCs and all sorts of other info, but not the security key, so no use for people seeking to solve the immobiliser issue if you don't already have the key. This device can be modified by desoldering the chip and replacing it with a genuine pic microcontroller if you are knowledgeable in electronics, but that is quite a hastle. Otherwise it works just fine.

Some cars like certain years of the Corsa C can have the ...
First one I bought didn't work, but I returned it and had a working replacement after 2 days. I managed to get this working in Windows 10 which is apparently a rarity. I was able to blank the fault codes on my Corsa C and program some creature comforts into the BCM. Also clocked a new speedo because the old black ones were impossible to see.You will need your Carpass to program the advanced features. Some cars like certain years of the Corsa C can have the code read out of them. Read around before buying.

Great Value
Excellent piece of kit. Does what it says. I used it, initially, to enable the trip computer on my Zafira Life.
