I bought the Atoo STO003 Mini OBD2 ELM327 V1.5 Bluetooth Car Scanner- Android Torque Auto Scan Tool OBD-II Engine Fault Diagnostic Code Tester (Mini Bluetooth) yesterday and it arrived today.The software and installation looked all simple but was far from it. I think its because the software is very old, I tried on Windows 7 and Windows 10 in various compatibility settings and had difficulty. I eventually downloaded another copy off the internet of V1.13 which then worked okay once set up the adapter in bluetooth settings and identified which com port it was set to. It will add two com ports, you need the one that has SPP (serial port protocol) next to it.Do NOT be tempted to upgrade the software above V1.13 as it gives a message saying this type is not supported and the program closes.I just wanted to clear a service vehicle soon warning which I managed to do in seconds once the software was running and had communications with the adapter. Turn the ignition on but not all the way to engine start (usually the second turn) Once cleared the code I did start the car and got the message back along with ABS / Power steering and ESP faults so don't be tempted to start the car unless its last resort to get it working as I then had to go back to step one of start the software, plug the adapter in, turn ignition to second position and then clear the DTC (diagnostic trouble codes). My car is a 2013 Vauxhall Astra Diesel incase anyones wondering.A main thing to mention, on the disk there is instruction for and software for a bluetooth manager tool, don't install it - Windows above XP already has it included and its not required, comes built into virtually all computers as standard.Good cheap tool, but not for someone who is not comfortable with com port settings, bluetooth and potential messing around with the software to make it work.

Bought it to check errors and cancel Check Engine light in my Fiat Ducato 2014. Plug fit to the car socket without any problem. Connect to the OBD Car Doctor app in my smartphone straight away. No instruction or pair code figured it would be either 0000 or 1234 . Proved to be the later. It's works okay on my x type 2004 diesel so I'm happy

Works great for reading and clearing the codes on my mk7 transit van.You need to download an app if you want to use it with your phone but I found a free app that worked great.There are no instructions but there is a cd which I assume has pc software but I no longer have a cd drive so I can't say whats on the disc.

Only managed to find and clear standard messages which can be performed using the driving stalk buttons anyway

Took a bit of working out, but once I got it connected it worked a treat. Diagnosed a misfire on cylinder number 4. New plugs and possibly new/leads & coil pack. Peace of mind for under £12.00

I've just bought my new car and I didn't want to go through all the hustle of going to a service. Used this and there were no issues, then I read the manual and what I found suspicious was actually normal behavior. Saved me 20 pounds and a trip.
