The upgraded version was definitely worth the money for me because I had to bring two laptops and an iPad with me on my trip. I was surprised that there was a passed pocket for both laptops and a pocket for the iPad to boot.I don’t know that the upgraded pockets gave it more room per se, I think the bulk went INTO the backpack rather than away, so there’s that if you’re comparing capacity. But the convenience of being able to access them was worth it for what I was doing.I had a water bottle on one side and a large shaker bottle on the other. I had to remove one in order to fit it under the seat on the plane, but that was no big deal, I just stuffed it into the pocket on the back of the airplane seat we landed.I bought the dark green and was pleasantly surprised that the fabric has a shimmery kind of sheen to it. So pretty! And the gold accents look very classy.Held up very well after my trip. Looks just as good after a full round trip as it did when I unboxed it.The charge cord (extension? Since it’s not a full cord? I don’t know) came in very handy. I was concerned that it would be a cheap cord that wouldn’t match the quick charge capabilities of my battery pack and cord but my phone charged very quickly!You just have to watch it because it can pop out and then you have to open the bag and dig around until you find the cord to pop it back in and fix it. Only happened once though. Being able to remove it is worth the risk in case it wears out. You know how cords are.I would have liked a small pocket for my little wallet, the pocket on the front that looks like it should be a small pocket goes in very deep, but what it has did the job. If I care that much I could always sew it to be shorter for next trip. I probably won’t bother though.

This is our 2nd HAPPY purchase!I tell everyone about these backpacks!They're EXACTLY as shown in reviews, pictures and any videos.So much room and so many pockets to fill!Our first purchase was last year. My daughter was in the 6th grade and the school requested the kids to carry around the biggest, and heaviest binder you can imagine.This backpack carried that BIG binder along with her lunch, water bottles, and basic school supplies. The awesome hidden pockets made it great for those feminine products too.Now she's in 7th grade and NO BIG BINDER, but with all the subjects this year, she's carrying around more notebooks and 2 binders.This bag holds her lunch, school supplies, a 2in 3 ring binder, a 1 in 3 ring binder, 2 composition books, and 1 notebook. She's even added her sketch books and a headset to the load. It's the beginning of the school year and I'm confident this backpack will hold anything else she will need.There's plenty of room if you want to carry 16oz water bottles on the sides.She used last year's backpack for her trip during the summer. It had plenty of room and pockets for the trip! It was an awesome carryon.We love the variety of colors to choose from.Last year we purchased the black and cream color. This year we bought the all the black and it's REALLY nice. The material is thick. It's not easy to tear. The double zipper style is awesome. We love how the backpack stays open making it easy for her to pull out whatever she needs without searching. The packaging is great and it came with a protective bag.All the features, all the room, and all the pockets you need.You won't be disappointed!

It's beautiful and very roomy! Particularly, I like the wide-open top. Easy to find things. Fits more.The charging port is a nice extra. I only wish we could select usb-c. But its fine with the older USB.More pockets than I can think now to use!! Ian certain I will find il convenient as I use this. Laptop and tablet pockets are nicely padded. Very easy to get in/out. I can fit thicker binders and books in the main compartment. Little pockets for my powerbank. Zip in some papers. Pouches for water bottles, umbrella, and even cups that have a handle.The backpack straps feel comfortable. They can be tucked behind the luggage strap. I extended the straps to give it length to tuck. Makes it easier to use just the handles.Got because a second one for my daughter because she liked mine so much!We have the orange and wine red bags. If the orange also came in the upgraded size, I would have ordered both our bags in the larger (taller) size. Being as large and roomy as it is, I stood it next to my daughter's traditional backpack, and it was the same height. I will add before/after pics later. Her backpack is transformed from overstuffed and wanting to break to organized and less bulbous.

In love with this bag. I ordered the green and it’s the perfect color. I got the bag to use for work and it did not disappoint. The quality is actually great for the value of money you paid. It’s quite spacious and light weight. I love the double cup pockets on the side, the multiple compartments, and the USB attachment for a power bank. The bag is water resistant and would be great for traveling. I took a point off because the zipper could be better a better quality.

This backpack is very organizational and sturdy . The quality of materials used to make this bag is great . It’s very roomy and can fit all your needs . I got it in black which makes it go with everything you wear . Great buy

My sister had one of these that she bought because her boss had one and she loved it. Now I have one and I love it! Roomy, well constructed, fits perfectly under airline seats, lots of special deep pockets and thick padded sided. You know how when you find something you love (and it's inexpensive!) you start to think about all of the people you would like to buy one for? This is one of those finds. I did buy black so it would match my luggage but there are a lot of pretty colors.

I absolutely loved this backpack. I was using it for a trip to Alaska....it had plenty of room for a warm coat, my camera, important documents, change of clothing, hat etc. Also had nice deep pockets on the outside for storing my passport/wallet/snacks. Pockets on the outside are nice and deep to hold a large insulated water bottle for day trips. Love the closure at the top...not flimsy...nice zipper and handle for carrying. Or can use as a back pack. I am 5ft 4"...and this fit me perfectly and was comfortable. Recommend!

Love this bag! It has plenty of pockets and my laptop fits in it with plenty of room for other items. I used it as my only carryon bag for a 4 day trip and could fit everything I needed. It’s professional and cute but very functional.
