Noah's Ark Gift Boxed Set Hand Carved & Painted Christening New Baby Gift by East of India

This is a really lovely gift set. More petite than I expected, but this is actually a good thing as it makes it even cuter! I purchased this as a christening gift alongside a lovely noahs ark book and i would highly recommend this product for such an occasion. Important note - this is a decorative item, not a toy and does contain very small animals which small children could easily choke on.

There are a lot of mixed reviews for this, so much so I nearly didnt buy it. In the end I decided to risk it and am so glad I did. Yes it is small and yes it has small imperfections but it is genuinely really lovely and the small imperfections actually add to its charm. Myself and my husband both really liked it as did the people we brought it for who were actually blown away. So if like me you're sitting on the fence, take the risk. In my opinion it pays off!

This was as a christening gift. The product was smaller than what i expected and not really ideal for a toy due it could be a choking hazard. However, this is a lovely keep sake gift. My friend was made up with it and nearly cried because it was so cute. Great to put as decor in child's bedroom, however somewhere safe that is unreachable.

Bought it as a keepsake for my daughter’s birthday. It is being returned it as I was so upset by the quality. Really nothing worth “keeping” and I would be too ashamed to give this to her. The paint quality is extremely poor - with paint rub off from darker pieces to light. Although I did not open the plastic inside to touch the pieces, the texture of the paint applied on the box itself was unpleasant. Only in retrospect did I notice the interesting and overly kind use of the phrase “shabby chic style” in the description. The quality reminded me very much of a nativity set we once bought at a pound shop. I appreciate the warnings that this is a small item, too, but it really is much too small to be fully enjoyed even as a decorative item. Overall just incredibly disappointed.

I have bought this item twice now. It makes a beautiful Christening gift. I like that it is minature and doesn't take up too much room. A lovely addition to any nursery shelf. Highly recommended

I was disappointed with the size of this product considering it was purchased for a babies christening and not suitable for a child under five but that was my fault for not reading the description. I kept it for the present and told the mum it was for display and a keepsake. I purchased this item as part of a christening present for my 15 month old great nephew. I couldn’t gift it as the pieces were so small they would have been a choke hazard for him, as seen in my photo against a 20p coin. It’s an ornament at best. Very sweet, but not suitable as a toy.
