Pink Sand and Parasites

I found this book very captivating even though it is said to be fictional. It held my interest to the end.

I enjoyed reading this, and if I ever go to Bermuda I'm taking this with me. It is written in the first person, so I felt I was part of the action. There were lots of surprising twists but it was all explained by the end.It was really interesting to learn about Bermuda and the author obviously knows the island well. It was refreshing not to just have the stereotypical view of the island.I would recommend it for a holiday read, even if you don't get as far as Bermuda!

This is a great on the beach read or curled up by the fire dreaming of summer on a tropical Island.Unusual in that it is written in one voice and the hero is a teacher but it works as Jack is very likeable but for me Dilly stole the show and Bermuda was the star. Found I was still thinking about it days after I'd finished which is always the sign of a good book.
