Honestly I did not try yet but I do better that if you wash by hand with delicate soap will be fine

I want to use this for crochet bag. I want a sturdy finish as supposed to soft finish. Will this work?

I'm a crocheter too and I think when I picture this being made into a bag I don't think of a sturdy finish. But it's a dense tight cord and beautiful colors but quite slippery. I think you'd have to use a small hook for a tight stitch and then it would be good. I used it to make macrame bracelets and when I pulled it tight it was quite stiff and held its shape. But it's slippery which is what makes me think it would not be sturdy. But now that I think about it, it would be a nice bag but not stand up on its own or wear very well because of the satiny finish. But be very pretty.
