VollrathWear-Ever 8" Non-Stick Fry Pan with CeramiGuard II and Cool Handle

I have purchased many of this brand pan from egg pans to omelette pans plus 10”&12” pans they are the best. Was in the food and beverage business and these were the pans of choice. They hold up, easy to clean and great to cook with.

The only thing I can criticize about this pan is it can tip toward the handle when empty. In a perfect world, the handle would be down sized to balance better. I habitually set it on the stove at an angle that supports the handle side so I don't notice the tip anymore. What matters to me is how it works with something in it.It's thick aluminum, the coating is great and has held up to abuse, it heats very evenly. It looks so nice I have been polishing the bottom with Barkeepers friend to keep it sparkling. I might not bother with any less of pan. I just like it very much. Made in Wisconsin too!

These pans in their various sizes (8, 10, larger) cook very well. Clean very well. Priced very well. Not too heavy to hold. A keeper.

I have been using the Vollrath Wear-Ever pans for years. These pans are sold with a brown exterior color instead of the aluminum at the "Home and Garden" shows where they do the live demos. Well we bought a set 15 years ago and have had great usage out of them. As they have eventually worn out, I began searching for replacements.And I found them, this is the same pan but half the price. They offer multiple sizes; but this 8" is great for cooking omelets, eggs for 2, grilled cheese sandwiches, just about anything.These pans are the best non-stick pans I have ever used. You can burn stuff, you can melt stuff, you can scratch them...and they just keep right on cooking without losing their non-stick ability. They are heavy and well made. If you are looking for pans that are excellently priced and built to last. These are the pans.

This is the third Vollrath Fry Pan in this series that I have purchased in the past year. These are good quality pans and the non-stick material seems very durable, something that has been lacking in other brands I have purchased. I feel you get what you pay for, and these are worth the investment. This particular pan, however, has one flaw - it is not well-balanced. Either the handle is too heavy or slightly too long for the size pan that it is (8"). Without food in it, the handle causes it to tip. It seems to be a delicate balance, because it doesn't do it when sitting on the counter, but does when I set it on a burner on our gas range. Otherwise, it is excellent! Because of that, I have chosen to keep it, but I hope the manufacturer will make an adjustment in the future.

I am an Executive Chef and have been using Vollrath products for over 40 years. They continue to make a high quality, long lasting, reasonably priced product that I continue to use even at home.

I’ve owned a lot of vollrath products before and appreciate the professional quality. This 8” pan is no different - solid aluminum, nice handles, coated rivets. Except in one big way - it’s so out of balance that it tips over making it pretty much unusable. Returning
