The Beauty of Darkness: The Remnant Chronicles, Book 3

I LOVED LOVED LOVED the first book so was very eager to read the series, but I felt like the story lost it's momentum through out and this last book was the worst. Although I still read it (felt like I had to) I felt there was MORE the authour could've explored with the characters. She made such a big deal about the main character having to choose between the Prince or the Assassin that....*************SPOILER ALERT***************************when she picked NEITHER of them I felt a bit let down and tricked in getting my hopes up for a good sound romance. I know in this day and age the girl doesn't always have to end up in love, but if you gonna start the story like that with a BIG lead up about 2 potential suitors then do a plot twist where she picks neither....then at least make the rest of the story worthwhile and complete.Read it for yourself and make of it what you will but I felt a little let down at the end, even as much as to think...."is this it? Where's the rest?"That's just the story though, the quality of writing was superb and I'd love to see what else this authour comes out with next!

Absolutely loved this book ( infact love whole series) the story nt predictable n there are a gud mix of characters so always someone you can relate to!! Loads of emotion and frustrated feelings!! Would defo recommend well written and interesting

So far these books have entertained me greatly. There were a few little twists thrown in to keep me interested and not second guessing the flow. Well worth a read. :-)

Great finale. Only problem I had was I found the fighting scene a bid rushed.

Fabulous conclusion to a wonderful trilogy. Couldn't put it down and didn't want it to finish. Look forward to future books by Mary Pearson and would highly recommend.
