This exhaust fan works so well to get some fresh air in our basement that does not have any windows. My husband installed it in just about an hour and the air feels so much more fresh in the basement now.

I originally bought the 70 CFM fan for our bathroom and mounted it in a panel in the window. While it did move some air, it wasn't nearly enough for super hot/steamy showers. The 6" gets the job done really well. While it is louder than the 4" fan, the high volume and metal construction make it a much better option. We had been experiencing mold in the bathroom (with no fan at all), and this unit has eliminated it. Aside from the somewhat high noise level, it works like a charm! The fan sounds louder than it really is in the video.

This fan was a bit louder than I had hoped, and doesn't move quite as much air as I had hoped, but works pretty well to dehumidify my spa room. I wanted something that had a fairly unobtrusive appearance, and also wasn't much deeper than a standard 2x4 stud wall. I also had very tight limitations on the diameter, due to the limited space between my window header and the outside roof overhang. I installed an automatic shutoff timer, so I just tap the button to turn it on for the preset time (5 minute increments) and forget about it. On the outside of the wall I mounted this louver shutter, to shed rain and to provide another barrier to air coming in when the fan isn't running. Since that louver has gravity-closed shutters, they provide a bit of resistance to airflow, which may be why I'm not getting as much as I'd prefer. I use this as a circlation fan throughout my building and it works great! I have had it running non-stop many months now and it just keeps going. Very good quality and price! It is not too noisy and where I have it you cannot hear it at all and it is just a few feet away from my office. It does a fantastic job!

Worked perfect.installed it to help vent the laundry room a little noisy but moves air very well

I bought this to use as an exhaust fan for my laser engraver. It works well installed through the wall as shown. I like the plug in cord with a switch built in, no wiring required, just plug it in and turn it on to use. The price is good, in fact the 6" holesaw that I bought to cut the hole in my office wall costs more than the fan. I wish it came with a cover for the outlet but at this price I won't complain about that. You'll have to purchase of fabricate a cover for that end.

Died in less than one year. Super disappointed

Tested the fan for a few hours before busting a whole in my wall and installing it. The noise level is acceptable for a bathroom. The build quality seems adequate. All the dimensions were as advertised. It doesn't push as much air as I was expecting, but it should still be enough for my purpose. The cord is a bit short. Will have to arrange for a longer extension cord.
