Q: Would this remove the glue from a iron on label on clothes?

Haven't tried this, but maybe if you spray a little on the label then scrape it off (maybe with a knife or something) before washing...?? Then the "bits" of rubbish wouldn't attach to everything. Good luck.

I used it to remove horrible sticky stuff that had been used to stick lead in windows. So I would have thought so.

Yes, This stick remover will remove most stickers and glued from any surface, However, you will have to follow the removal of the sticky residue with some warm soapy water to remove the sticky remover liquid or you will have a dull patch also if you intended to paint this would be the best way to finish.
