The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10%, Serum Good for Reducing the Appearance of Fine Lines, 30ml

Today, I will be reviewing one of their products, the argireline solution 10%. Someone who has been worrying more more about wrinkles over the years, and wanting to find a slightly quicker fix as opposed to jumping into Botox, I wanted to see what other products I could use on my face to try and gently prevent my face from aging just a little bit, I’m about 30 years old, and while I do look younger than my actual age, time will eventually catch up to me, and I just want to make sure that I am taking as best care of my looks while I still have them somewhat.For those of you, who don’t know about the solution, the solution is supposed to target the appearances of dynamic facial lines. It’s recommended to apply a few drops on the forehead and around the eyes twice daily before applying heavier treatments. There is a possibility for some people, that your skin could get irritation. I can confirm in my case I did not receive any irritation after patch testing, and actually I felt my skin tightening whenever I’ve been using this product. The effects are not aggressive, and actually it felt quite light on my skin. Almost feels watery like in texture, which is a bit different to the hyralauric acid and the niacinamide. Makes a nice change, as some of the products I tend to put on my face seems to give off a sticky icky feeling.The bottle is simple in design, which I appreciate as I am quite minimalistic as an individual and often feel guilty about throwing away product bottles that have a fancier design. It’s durable, and recyclable, so for those of you who are all about the eco-friendly culture, this is the bottle to get really. It’s very sturdy, and I’ve not had problems with leakages. The pippet used to grab some of the solution is not too tough to pinch, which I appreciate as my strength is not the best.The ordinary provides high-quality products for a more affordable price, and I’m happy to say that this is worth the purchase for a wide variety of reasons. The solution its self is quality. The packaging too is also quality.

I have a very annoying single frown line between my eyebrows. I inherited it from my dad and it’s getting deeper as I age. As I hit 35, I also noticed crow’s feet around the eyes. Since I’ve always been impressed with The Ordinary, I thought I’d give this little serum a try.It does what it says on the bottle - numbs your muscles so the skin doesn’t crease. The effect is temporary but instant and visible with the naked eye. I just pour a drop down my frown line, rub it in a bit, and the thing straightens out - not entirely, but to about where it was 5-6 years ago. For my crow’s feet, I just slide the pipette under my eyes, rub the serum all around the eyelids, sides, and bags, and give it a minute. Again, it shows right away. The skin looks fuller, smoother, and it doesn’t crease as easily.Strange to read reviews that say it doesn’t work. But please note this is for dynamic wrinkles only (the kind you get on the forehead and around the eyes from making facial expressions). There’s no reason for it to work with wrinkles around the mouth (the kind you see when you use a straw, for instance), forehead wrinkles from sleeping on your side, pillow wrinkles, etc.

I’ve been using this twice a day for a few weeks now, as I have quite prominent forehead and frown lines… I had researched it can be used as temporary Botox? But it is yet to make any difference! The consistency is like water, not greasy, no scent, and has been kind to my sensitive skin, causing no irritation!

So this is my elixir . It takes about 6 weeks to see the results using twice daily . But once you see it , it hits you big time (I stopped using it for 3 months and I deeply regret it as I'm hideous looking now, it's all fell back down) , it creeps up so you won't see the changes till a few weeks . So it's water based , feels like water and has no scent , this is normal as I know some worry about this , but after application it will turn a tad tacky once it's onto the 3rd drying stage . I use this is on face , neck and decollete , and the back of my hands . Be careful around the eyes , it tightened me up to the point I was starting to look foxy eyed , so I lessened the amount at that section , it also might have been my sweeping motions while applying, who knows . This will last about 6 months for me ,you might differ . But you're gonny love it . And it's cheap as bloody hell . Just watch the temples and eyes , use less on those sections, unless the foxy look is the intended result .

Everyone comments on my skin, I’m 54 and genuinely don’t have wrinkles, I put it down to using good quality products, and this is on my skincare routine, I notice it tightens my skin after using for about 6 to 8 weeks, I’ve also recommended to friends who use it now too, try it for a few months and see how you get on

I use this in combination with The Ordinary Matrixyl solution and have really noticed the difference in skin quality, dryness and reduction in wrinkles. A little goes a long way so it lasts a long time, great value for money as always.
