Waste of Money - did not work
I enthused my son with a whole day of Science in lockdown and he was so excited. But this box set was absolutely rubbish. The experiments just did not work. We taped our fins onto the film canister, put in some water and dropped in half a Rennie tablet and waited for it to take off. Nothing happened. I realised the instructions were incorrect and it would only work with something like and effervescent tablet. We put in a Vitamin C one of these, as the instructions suggested. It did not work. The seal around the lid is not tight enough and the liquid just leaked out. I then went to the chemist and paid £5 for Alka Seltzer tablets. This also did not work as the liquid again just leaked out of the poorly made container. We then re-grouped after this disappointment and tried the next experiment - Rocket Screamer. The first balloon popped when it was only half inflated. Luckily there was a second balloon, so we tried again. Inflated the balloon inside the rocket, let go and ..... nothing. Absolutely nothing. The boy at this point burst into tears. You would be better off designing your own science experiments. This is a waste of money and I have asked for a refund.

Using it like the opposite of a MacGyver episode
Worthless.Ordered two John Adams Kits for Christmas this year. Both had problems. This one was missing 'included' items. Most of the experiments call for you to buy other things, so over half of the activities don't require the kit at all. Using it like the opposite of a MacGyver episode, one expects a great big effective show...but instead everything just fizzles out disappointingly. Don't even bother trying the underwater volcano.

First use a bit disappointing
Have only tried one of the experiments so far, which did not work even when the proper science was applied. The film canister rocket experiment states that an indigestion tablet be used however these do not react with water to produce a gas that would make the film canister rocket, they do however react with acids and so vinegar would be best or use alka seltzer and water as this does give off a gas. Even though I used the correct ingredients it did not work. Hopefully when I have tried the others they will be better.

Not impressed
Not impressed went to use this with my cousin on boxing day and majority of the chemicals you need to get yourself ! I was annoyed that we could do only one experiment, if I had known I needed more than this box offers I would not have bought this!

Would recommend my friends
Nice bangs for kids. I liked how it fits on my kids hands. It’s nice to play and they’re helpful in science related stuff.

Not great
This kit isn't that great, you still need to provide some of the stuff to make experiments so you're probably better off using google to get some ideads and go buy a load of stuff.

A waist of money.
This is one ridiculous product, that should be equated to buying a car with no motor. For almost every experiment you need to have/buy key items to make it work. These should be in the kit, how many people have effervescent vitamin C in the house. I'm glad we couldn't do any of the experiments, at least I can get a refund still.

Poor all around and most dissapointing
Poor all around and most dissapointing.Mostly based outdoors and this Christmas was mainly wet and windy so unable to use it.I remember the old indoor fireworks and was expecting something similar,i think the title of the product is misleading to say the least and don't get me started on the piece of paper folded to make the BANG!
