Like the FastTrack
The FastTrack works great but not made in USA like you would expect from Lionel. Long engines will NOT negotiate the 34 curves. Only less than 34 engines. Had to return my engine. It too was made in China not USA. Lionel has cheapened their brand but not their prices!

Train run smooth on fast track.
The media could not be loaded. Nice little beginners track layout. I’m putting together a 2 track layout which is 7’x 4’ for the Christmas tree. 1 freight ( all car are Christmas) and 1 passenger. Trains run smoothly no hiccups.

Snaps together easily
The media could not be loaded. This is great for older lionel trains. Only complaint is they don't say the scale of the track on the Amazon product description. I had to contact seller to verify scale before purchase.

Great Quality!
This set was employed around the Christmas tree this year and although a little tough for arthritic hands to put together it managed to power my little Lionel Steamer all month long with no derailments or interruptions of power. Very easy to pull apart however. Helps to do a little Youtubing to help you do things right from those in the know. This is the perfect set to have around a Christmas tree but I opted for a little larger oval for the longer train cars to be able to negotiate a little better.

Very simple to set up
We needed a new track layout to set up our classic Lionel train around the Christmas tree this year. Integral track bedding is a must. It also has to be easily taken down. We've used similar set ups years ago but they did not hold up well to being taken down. After a few years they broke during disassembly. Going to try again with this set. We put it together to check the function of the train. It went together easily enough and no problems taking it down for storage until the holiday. We shall see how it fares after the holiday. It does use a proprietary , three pin power connector, so be aware when ordering that you will also need to purchase one.

Easy to put together and run the trains on
This I set up with my grandson on Christmas morning. Nothing better than that!
