DFlamepower 10x42 HD Monocular with Full Optical Prism and Dual Focus Telescope, Waterproof, Portable Spotting Scopes for Birdwatching

I have not use monocular before but I thought I give this one a go due to its good spec and competitive price. I walk in the park and nearby woodlands a lot and want to carry something light and small so I can look at the birds and small animals more closely. Binocular is out of the question because I like to focus on one eye and this monocular is great to use and hold on one hand, while I can hold my lovely hot coffee on the other hand The range is more than enough for general use, the strongest point is the amazing clarity. I am able to see objects much more clearly in details. The main focus dial is easily operated with a single finger. Overall I am more than pleased with DFlamepower monocular in terms of its size and easy to use. If you want to have something in your pocket for occasional use. I would strong recommend you give it a try.

I generally struggle with binoculars, I seem to have trouble looking through two eye pieces at once, so a monocular is a great idea for looking at things at a distance. I thought this was very decently made, it's a good, robust, rubberised design, the optics seem fine to me, particularly at the price point, and it is decently weighty without being too heavy. Focus is via a rotating eyepiece, with fine focus via a rotating knob on the top of the monocular. It arrives in a neat little bag, with a tether and lens cloth. I tried to take a photo through it using my mobile, zooming in on my guitar case, I've attached another photo, taken from exactly the same position with juts the mobile, which hopefully demonstrates the magnification abilities. Whist the magnified shot is a tad blury, that's more about my lack of focus and the phone camera struggling rather than due to the optic of the monocular. I'm impressed that something of decent quality can be made at this price point. This will be yet another addition to my campervan, for those weekends away. Good stuff.

I have added a photo showing the size difference between the Flamepower monocular and my old monocular. Flamepower is the large black device on the left. Magnification is about the same for both. I have used my old device for over 30 years and it’s past it’s use by date. Apart from the size issue, the Flamepower device is easy to use and adjust focus with one hand. Better than the old device in that respect. Flamepower feels solid and well made, but I wish I had bought one that gave me more magnification.

I ordered this monocular as a present for my husband. He loves bird watching and has a big telescope but wanted something a little more handy to take out. This arrived next day after ordering which was perfect, excellent service. When you open up the box you'll see it comes with a good bag, a cleaning cloth and a hand strap to attach. The lens also has a cap for use in storage. My husband is really pleased with the monocular, he said the focus and range on it is excellent, the clarity of sight is excellent and overall he's very surprised by the capabilities of such a compact and inexpensive product. The material is a tough rubber so it's quite hardwaring and will withstand the inevitable drops when out and about! The material is also waterproof as are the seals around the monocular so it's perfect in all weathers. Overall it's a really great little product, excellent value for money.

Yes yes, it's easy to hold and use with one hand. Yes, it's fairly lightweight, but is it really 10 times magnification?? I have to admit, I'm not so au fait with telescopes, binoculars or monoculars that I can confidently state the answer to my own question; but I just thought things would appear closer than this allows. It is crystal clear, no doubt about that, but birds in trees, the moon (things on the packaging of this item) do not appear magnified enough to be super impressive. Am I pleased I bought it though? Yeah, it's pretty cool (in a Jason Bourne kinda way) and far easier to stick in a pocket than binoculars. Gotta run, they've found me ......

I never had a monocular before, I have used binoculars in the past. The item arrived and looked a little strange from what I assumed from movies. I used them monocular trying to focus at from first time usage was a little fiddly but once I figured it out it was really impressive, the eye piece has a section where you can extend to accommodate your eye piece so that you eye is not too close to the lense as to cause fogging especially in the cold weather, adjusting focus is very easily done using one hand and slowly adjusting the focus wheel. The only thing I felt that is needed is for a tripod in order to keep the object still. But the object focused is clear and crisp, it does come with a lens cloth its rather cheap so I do suggest investing in a more higher quality microfiber cloth. The zoom is far more superior than binoculars for that I can certainly say. For the price it's not bad and I do wonder what night vision scopes look like and able to achieve?

Al igual que otros usuarios, opino que da una imagen muy nítida y luminosa. La única pega es que tienes que ser muy preciso en la alineación del punto central del visor respecto al ojo, en cuanto lo mueves, se desplaza mucho la imagen o se pierde del todo. Es robusto aunque algo pesado, bien protegido y hay que asegurar las tapas de goma para no perderlas con cierta facilida. Recomendable

Esta muy bien...precio y calidad . Fue un regalo para mi padre...le gusto mucho. Cumple expectativas amplias.......y la calidad no esta mal.

Qualità prezzo accettabile, la nitidezza non è il suo forte, le sue dimensioni contenut è il peso ridotto e lo rende semplice da trasportare, abbastanza buona anche la messa a fuoco.

il prezzo è conveniente ho provato a prendere un oggetto differente sembra un buon articolo ma lo valuterò in spazzi aperti
