Yes, it is a yellowy cream, but beware that it is slightly different to Country Cream. I bought a kettle and toaster from the Russell Hobbs Heritage range in Country Cream but couldn't find a microwave other than the one you are interested in, which is described as 'Cream'. As the colours on the web page all look different, I was concerned that the difference in shade of the microwave would show, but as long as the microwave isn't right next to the other items, it doesn't notice. The microwave is a good one, and easy to use. The only downside is that the reflective glass door shows every fingerprint unless you are careful not to touch the glass when closing it, but it cleans up with a piece of wet kitchen roll and a polish with a dry piece. I don't know why Russell Hobbs use two different cream shades! Hope you find this useful.

What are the internal dimensions please?

Internal Dimensions: Height from turn table 16cm x 30cm W x 29cm D. A dinner plate fits nicely.

I've seen a number of answers saying the inside is 17.5cm high, but can anyone tell me please is this from the turntable or the base of the microwave?

175mm is the hieght of the opening 160 is the hieght from the turntable to the top of the opening
