I have had these for a while now and have had no problems using them. I did wonder how good they would be after reading some of the veiws especially relating to the battery compartment cover coming off easily. I haven't had a problem with that, it stays firmly in place even after it dropped on the floor.I also noticed that a review mentioned that if they don't have power then they loose pairing to the remote, I have hust checked one of mine that hasn't been plugged in for a few months and even when is used is only infrequently used and that remembered the pairing no problems. All in all this is a good product especially for the price.

Spent an age trying to get it to work. Finally discovered that both batteries were totally dead, & had to buy fresh ones. So clearly very old stock - beware!

Very useful for turning my lounge lights on and off in my lounge ,very handy with the remote control

Only had in use for a day but they work as expected. Good points are they're cheap and very useful. They also have very low power consumption themselves - from my estimation (although my test equipment is not that sensitive) each switch uses around 3w a day to run itself. That equates to a around 1Kw for a year, about 12p. Very good! Now the bad points. In my opinion, the remote feels very cheap and flimsy - not to the same quality as your TV/Hifi etc. Also, the manual on-off button on teh switch doesn't feel particularly robust. More worryingly the battery cover on the back of the remote can be easily slid off. Inside the two button batteries are sprung loaded so could easily pop out. If you have small children there is a danger of them swallowing the batteries should the cover come off and they dislodge - which is a big concern. Thankfully, my kids are old enough to know better than put batteries in their mouths. However I have put tape over the cover as a safety measure all the same, which is a little unsightly. Had I have known this serious shortcoming up front I would have bought a different brand. So, overall I'm dissapointed.

The 1that is top top is fantastic, But the 2nd that doesn’t work, is being sent back to QC . I hate to be mizz-hog but the deal is for 2 working units not 1 if I wanted1 would have requested 1 weather less I will Follow protocol and disregard that this not a accident or discrepancy but as we English say IT happens!
