Looks like well made
It is useful, but seems to be not strong enough to hold over 300 lb load considering the thin supporting rods. Of course I am not using this for that heavy weight limit.

Will work as a backyard temp table for parties
EDIT: Nov 2022 - these are still up with no warping or rust in desert SW climate. The hinge pin issue still bugs me but they are functional after 18 months exposed to the elements. Bumping it up a star.Let me preface this by saying I purchased these in July 2019. We had just bought a house with a much smaller yard than we’d had previously, and we were trying to find ways to host the same amount of people in less space. Having collapsible tables was one of the solutions we came up with…. I then got very sick, the pandemic hit, and you know the rest. SO – they never got installed or even opened. Fast forward almost two years, and we finally got around to getting this project done in April 2021. We purchased two pairs of the 14” brackets and mounted them on cinder blocks with 48”x16” pine boards attached to the top.Upon opening the packages we discovered that one set was brand new with plastic overwrap and all that. The second package appeared to be a return. There was no plastic overwrap, the finish was scratched and dented, and there were marker marks on them. We could have looked past all that (after all, you’re not going to see them), but unfortunately both of the brackets were damaged; the hinge pin that attaches at the bottom of the stationary arm was broken and thus the diagonal support just swung freely (another user’s photo shows this exact same failure). This was the exact same issue on both brackets, which leads me to believe that it is a faulty piece that will likely fail soon on the set that came new, as well. I did write the seller and ask if they had a replacement pin available or knew where one could be purchased (totally understand it’s been two years, so I was not requesting a replacement), but they just directed me to Amazon’s return policy, which of course is 30 days. So, no help at all in that regard. I have searched pretty extensively for something similar, but it’s not looking good.Installation, as others mentioned, was a PITA. The brackets have to perfectly level to sit correctly. What I did was attach the brackets to the board first, set the board on a table against the wall at the height I wanted, then marked the holes for the brackets on the wall. I then removed the brackets from the board, pre-drilled a single hole at a time in the wall, attached the bracket each time and RE-MARKED the next hole for drilling each time to ensure they were perfectly level and that the drill didn't skew the screws off center. Both came out perfect and level and look great...but...it was a PITA and took most of a Saturday to complete. For the time being, we have kept the broken pieces of the hinge pin and re-insert them when we want to use the table, but we will be looking for a more permanent fix in the near future. Like another user posted in the reviews, we will likely end up replacing with a bolt. I will get four because I do think the other two will probably fail like so many others have. All that said, I feel—for our purposes—these brackets are great and I don’t regret the purchase (just wish I’d opened and inspected them when they arrived). Mounted into the concrete cinder blocks they are very solid and don’t budge at all. We don’t put a bunch of weight on them – just plates, drinks, etc., but I feel they could definitely hold a lot more (though I wouldn’t test it with the rated 330 lbs). They’ve been installed outside for just over a month and they are holding up nicely. Time will tell, but so far no rust or warping. If it weren’t for the hinge pin issue and lackluster customer service, I’d give them 5 stars. As it is, I will give them 3.

Pretty sturdy, Hard to install
Pretty sturdy. It doesn’t come with screw for the wall and the location of the screw holes makes it hard to mount onto wall.

Sturdy
Bought it to have a collapsible workbench to make candles in the winter. But being in my workshop, it ends up getting a lot of use for carving and chiseling, which can put a lot of force on it. Not sure how much it is rated for, but I have easily loaded it with 40 lbs passive weight, and probably 70 lbs active weight pressure from chiseling. Install took 20 minutes and only about 4 swears. I have saved it to buy 2 more sets later, both for hideaway counter space in the kitchen and as a writing space at work. Already bought a second one for my father. Totally recommended over the more expensive, less heavy duty one I saw at home depot

Stainless steel (no rusting, ever), solid folding brackets
These brackets are used for an outdoor shelf outside my workshop so I can put cups of coffee down whilst I unlock the door (see photo). When it rains I fold the shelf down so the rain runs off and doesn't collect on the top surface for hours (or days) on end.I fitted the brackets to the wall first at approximately the correct distance apart and then fixed the shelf to the brackets on the wall - that way I was sure it was all going to line up properly.I did grease the moving parts of the hinges to assist with a smooth folding action, but they would have worked just fine without that and remained rust free.Very happy with these.

Sturdy and works well
Needed a fold down shelf in the garage next to freezer. Fold up when using the freezer, fold down for most of the time, to free up garage space. These units are very solid and work well. The provided fixing screws and plugs were also good quality. Note that it is fiddly to fix the shelf screws to the braces, if the bracket is fixed to the wall first.

Good concept. Too bad one broke on first day
Installed as normal shelf bracket. Good concept/idea. Design flaw...Worked well during testing after installation, however the the little metal clip bit that holds the spring in place broke off leaving it unable to fold down again. Found that the lever depressed very easily just slightly too far very easily snaps this small piece of metal off rendering the bracket useless. Needs a stop in place or redesign of lever to prevent it moving beyond point required.

Great strong bracket
We used these to make a shelf on the wall in kitchen to feed the cat out of the way of the dog. They are extremely sturdy and enables us to put the shelf flat against the wall when not in use

Does the job!
These are supporting a shelf made from a heavy oak worktop. I am able to raise it and lower it easily.
