PetSafe Easy Walk Harness, Black, Medium

I bought this harness for a 6 month old 47lb deerhound . It is the best harness I have found to help stop pulling and I have bought three other designs that didnt help at all . I found with the easy walk harness I had more control and she didnt pull me off my feet when meeting other dogs on a walk . It certainly was a game changer for general walking on the pavement , I was not getting dragged to the fields . After reading another review where someone had one of the plastic buckles fail I also have a lead on her collar as well . I hold both leads in on hand with the harness lead slightly shorter , and make her walk next to my leg . If you give them any length of lead I find they get control over you again . When I let her run free I take the harness off . As they are long striding dogs I think the harness would interfere with their shoulder movement . But that is not a problem as the harness is so easy to take off and put on again with the two tone strap .

Bought this as a last resort as my Husky cross is a puller!! She is 29 kilos and loves to put her weight full on when walking. I wasn’t sure I believed all the reviews as it sounded to good to be true but had hopes that it would at least help a little as I walk with a stick now. Oh my goodness from the minute I put it on she is like a different dog and if she does try to pull a ahead the slightest tug on the lead brings her right back to my side I am so happy with this harness and how it has changed my dog walking experience I have recommended to several friends.

This harness works by pulling their head around to face you if they try to pull away - it's not fierce but reminds them to pay attention to you and we have found it works for our dogs.Was very easy to put on as there is a different coloured section for the bit that fits underneath to ensure you put it on correctly - we bought two different colours for our dogs so they are adjusted perfectly for each one.Loses one star as I found the supplied lead too long for us, if they are on the lead I prefer a shorter one suitable for walking through town - this one is more suitable for walking in open countryside (where our dogs are often off the lead anyway). Would have liked the option of a shorter lead or one which could be clipped back to make it shorter. Otherwise I feel good value and good quality

I am verry happy, fits very well my mini duchshund, i used it for him as he is pulling and do not want any strain on the neck or back, is the best from front as it restricts him from pulling and develop bad habit, therefore he is more focus on me and follows my instructions, i love it, also it goes very well with coats that are velcro in front, i do not have a photo, sorry.

The idea of the way the harness works is brilliant. It really does work and stopped our 6 month old lab from pulling. The kids were able to walk her on this harness unlike when she is on a collar and lead she is far to strong and pulls them. However, it does rub. We have tried it loose and tighter on her. Tighter is better but we can still only use it on her maybe once or at most twice a week because it gave her red marks and then eventually sores when we kept using it. We have since had to go and purchase another very expensive padded harness which doesn't stop her from pulling. If the makers of this harness put a bit more money into the design and added padding and protection to it, I would pay more money for it as the concept of it definately works. I read the reviews before buying this and a lot of people said it rubs. I thought I would take a chance on it, but it does rub and as I said, it causes sores too unfortunately. Save your money and wait for a re-design and then buy it!

The problem with the harness is that the side rings are too small to hold three straps and therefore the girth straps cannot be kept in line. This means that the harness cannot be fitted as intended. The rings on the chest strap are larger but only have to hold two straps. I have an old type one of these easy walk harnesses and that was excellent. These look cheap by comparison. I tried to set up a return but the code does not work. I have given up now, but would no longer recommend these harnesses.

I have been using this harness for 10 months. It is well made and works as advertised. I have used it with the leash hooked on top, rather than below, and it is great at keep my highly energetic Amstaff Terrier under control, while on walks. I highly recommend, and would definitely purchase again.

So my husky has some crazy pulling issues, she has none with this harness on! So wonderful and perfect! Thank you so much for saving my arms

Easy to put on and take off and comfortable for my big dog to wear. My dog can be an excited walker… this product helps me reign him back without strangling him or hurting him. I highly recommend this product.

This is the best harness to walk your fur baby. It Doesn't put the pressure on their larynx if they do pull. Its relaxing and they enjoy their walk, easy to train with too.
